Aw I'm touched.
And what do you disagree with? A lot of it is outdated anyways. Put it in the comment and/or here and I'll at least consider making changes on it.

I wouldn't invest in any weapons or armor. You will replace it fairly quick with level 378 gear from the new 5 mans.
You need a minimum ilvl to queue for those dungeons so some vicious gear could help to get there faster...
Its your gold, and you can do what you want with it. You can access the new 5 mans easily by gearing up with justice/valor points from randon cata heroics.
If you buy the ilvl 377 pvp gear, you don't need to equip it, it boosts your ilvl just by sitting in your bags, and can then on sell it once you have filled those slots, effectively minimising your loss, or if you get lucky even making a profit, depending on demand at the time.

Well then you are thinking wrong. Your ilvl on the character page shows a overall and an equipped. Overall includes bag items. The dungeon finder and raid finder tools use overall. (Note you must be able to equip the item for it to count to overall, this means that though plate users can carry cloth in their bags to boos their ilvl, cloth users cannot use plate as they cannot equip it. Also be prepared to be called out as a d-bag if you cheat the ilvl to get in.)

Indeed, if you have things in the bank they count towards your overall item level. If you took the time to look at your in game character sheet, or armory, you would notice they give two seperate item levels, one of which when you mouse over it is labeled as "Equipped" and the other I believe is "Maximum".
I actually used the pvp gear trick to get my new hunter into LFR within 30 minutes of dinging 85. And it only took that long cause I went and did the Elemental Bonds quest line for a cloak.
