Just a quick question concerning offhands. I managed to get
Blade of the Unmaker
and
No'Kaled, the Elements of Death
. I'm planning on using No'Kaled for my MH but is Unmaker suitable for Offhand? Or should I stick with my
Mandible of the Old Ones
?
Edit: Atm, I have no access to start getting the legendary daggers.

Off hand must be fast, Main hand must be slow.

I realize that but is the increase in stats (21 agility) and weapon damage range (540-1004 => 888-1333) worth it to give up the 1.4 speed OH?

I remember when we simed that
Librarian's Paper Cutter
is better Oh than
Rib Spreader
.
Indeed, it was ridiculously fast and no other dagger could match its energy regen.

Melee is #1 Damage in combat by far. I have used both fast and slow off hands. For pvp fast off hand is the best by far if you are speced for off hand energy, which you should be. In a pve situation the issues are different. The #1 pve damage is always melee around 2 to 1 over sinister strike. More energy = more SS. More ss does not help much or at all in pve for a couple reasons. In trash, blade flurry and slice and dice will be up and sinister strike is not important in that mechanic. On a boss you also have melee #1 and sinister strike #2. If you have more energy you get a few more sinister strikes but I do not believe it is better than a 1.8 dagger's extra damage IF you keep up 5 stacks of deadly poison by shiving if the stacks are going to drop off. I have also used a 2.1 dagger and had to shiv to keep up the stacks of poison. Melee damage is #1 and does not rely on energy. Sinister strike, eviserate, both use energy but if you look at damage you wil see that eviserate hardly make any difference in pve and SS is only half of melee. the trick is to just watch and be aware if your poison stacks drop off. And remember in trash you need blade flurry up and slice and dice up, those will matter way more then some energy. Big off hand dagger does a lot more damage with blade flurry up. So there are trade off's and the trick is to watch and be aware of where your damage is coming from.

I'm not in a debate with trollz here.
I do want to add to my post that if you are using an instant poison/ deadly poison combo you will get more poison damage with a 1.4 dagger, whether that helps your damage is up to you to determine.
edited for spelling

So much misinformation going around at the moment.
You can play your character how you want, but there is an optimal way and that is the
PvE guide
way.

That guide is not very usefull to anyone with experience but is fine for noobs.

Why would someone who know how to play need a guide how to play?
