Casting anything on @mouseovertarget is largely a waste of cooldown, unless you communicate well with your mouseover.
99% of the time, the target of your mouseover will be the same as your current target, not the mob you want to switch off your mouseover.
Using @mouseovertarget is warranted, when you cast a protective spell (PW:Shield f.e.) - then it'll help a target of certain mob to live one more swing, if not aggro a mob to you...

So I want to know if this is possible .. I want to be able to click a target and then use a macro that will essentially be my pull I want to hit my target with deathgrip and THEN death and decay when they get to me.. any ideas geniuses? :) thank you btw

I suspect the macros using DG & then D&D are players who want to initiate combat with DG, which is generally WRONG. You need to save DG for pulling stragglers into a fight, or (in pvp) to DG a player that is trying to run away. Which is why I always macro DG+COI.
