I need help with this question.. I frozen my account long time ago in 2008 and i m a bit lost now (noob) with all the changes and so on..
I was wondering if is it possible to move my character from the US server to the EU server..?
At the moment my character is in the Blackrock realm and i wanted to move somewhere in Europe cos i live in Italy.

Well, would you be so kind as to explain to the man why not? I'm not buying it for one, it gives you an option at the beginning of the game to make your server choice, so I really think you're talking out of your ass.Because Blizzard doesn't want to do it? Perhaps the character data between regions is incompatible, no one knows but Blizzard and they don't do cross region transfers.

The EU and US servers are operated entirely separate. It is not possible to transfer a character between the two at this time.
To my knowledge, you can't even play a character on an EU and US server. You'd have to buy an entirely new game to register it for EU servers.

Nothing is impossible guys. If he buys a new game, maybe they can copy paste the characters to his new account. I don't know, but do you seriously expect anyone to believe it is entirely impossible. I won't buy it either. Try mate. Call Blizzard. It's free and at least there you can get the feedback you've been looking for.
You can find their number on their official site. I hope you find a way.

I check on this every once in a while.
Short answer. Like you have already gotten is No.
Why? Its not because they have two different servers, but its because they are 2 different companies. Blizzard NA and Blizzard EU run their financials completely differently, and because of this there is no cross transfer of assets. This was the answer given to me by multiple people at both NA customer support and EU customer support. So there is probably some truth to it.
Sorry, maybe something will change in the future, but right now its not possible.
Cheers,
Hat

It's not impossible to be done, from a programming technical stand point.
By impossible, I mean... Blizzard doesn't do it. This has been the case for years as they're completely separate entities.
