Have a read through the guides section from the link above, should cover a lot of what you want to know, then come back with any specific questions you are unsure of. It's such a huge game it's a bit tough to just throw a few pointers in all honesty.

getting gold and levelling up faster :)
Loot everything. Sell greys and whites to vendor, sell greens (that aren't useful upgrades) on the AH. Check competitor's prices for same/similar items when selling stuff on the AH.
To level faster, join a mid to high level guild to get the XP perk. Do dungeons once you hit 15 for the extra XP there. Only do Yellow quests, they award more XP than green ones. Once most quests turn green in a zone, move on to the next higher one.
Or you could just sit back and enjoy the world that you're exploring. There's really no need to rush.

. Turn auto-loot on.
. Join a lvl 25 guild. Ask a tailor for 4x Netherweave bags (16 slots).
. Make a sell grey items macro or download an addon for that.
. Loot EVERYTHING.
. Sell ALL GREYS to vendors. Sell WHITE EQUIPMENT to vendors. Put mats + green items + blue items on the AH.
. Don't bother equipping the green/blue items you find. It's better to sell them on the AH. You'll find upgrades by questing alone.
. Don't forget that low level greens sell for above 1g on the AH (don't put them for 3x vendor price). Enchanters WILL BUY THEM for them to level up their profession.
. Quest, quest, quest, quest, quest. Quest while queue'ing for a dungeon.
. Do dungeons just for the quests. If you've done all the quests for a certain dungeon, don't redo it. You'll get way more exp from questing.
. Pick up 2x gathering professions (mining, herbalism, skinning). Level them up as you level yourself. You'll always have more money than you need. When you reach 85, decide whether you want to keep these professions or pick up the ones for your respectful class. I find it easier to level up like this making lots of money then change profession with the money I have (or keep this character as a gatherer for my alts).
Of course this is if you want to level up fast with money. Just remember you're paying for this game and you should have fun playing it.

This is very good advice --the only extra bits I can add are :_
NEVER BUY items for yourself while leveling , that nice bit of armor or weapon may have nice stats on it but it WILL be replaced in a level or two .
Do NOT enchant or gem gear while leveling - same reason as above .
Only train riding up to the flying level - the faster flying is not needed ( and can be done when you are level capped and have all the gear you need )
While leveling your gathering professions if you find a certain mat is selling for a high price spend a little extra time gathering it to make some gold . for example I found on ,my server Fell Iron and Cobolt Ore were selling for 80g a stack so I spent extra time mining these ,even after i was no longer getting a skill up , to make some gold
By doing all of the above on the last 3 toons I have leveled I have ended up with 13k.11k and 14.5k gold on the toon when they dinged 85

Asakawa, how does who runs the site mean anything if they don't have any links other than a random google link that's searching on what you search on most (warcraft) and puts a link on the very bottom of their page?
Now if their banner said Buy Gold Now! then I could see how that would be bad... or if their addon even once mentioned buying gold (instead of showing you ways of how to farm it yourself) then I would get that too.... neither of these things are happening with the link I posted.
Seems a bit odd.(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##The site that you linked is supported by goldsellers which is something that ruins the game for all of us and something we want to keep off the forums. Even though it's a step removed from Wowhead I'm still going to remove the link from your post.
