How to Stream Multiple PoVs Through One Host PC

Me and some friends are wanting to start a show where we have all of us at a single location and have our 3-5 PCs all in one room. The problem we have is how to capture the video and audio from the computers to a single host PC where we will have a producer who selects whos PC is getting shown to the audience and swapping to cameras and running adds etc.
So the question is what is the best way to get several PCs hooked up together and stream/record a show. If there is anyone who know what goes on behind the scenes of any Tournaments or can point me in the right direction that would really help us all out.
The sort of thing we're aiming might look a little like this Project Lore Video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHA_VZohiZA&feature=plcp
. You can see a lot of their gear at 0:28. Which was a World of Warcraft Show which used multiple PCs and cameras but I would assume it's the same kind of setup for a lot of SC shows and Tournaments out there.
The first thing that I looked into was something like the Black Magic Intensity Pro which is a PCI-E card that I believe takes the HDMI from your PCs(running the game) Graphics Card to a 2nd computer(stream/capture pc) and from the 2nd PC you get whats happening on the gaming machine. With that being the case how would you do this for up to 5 computers and what hardware would be needed. I would assume a switchboard would be needed to bring it all together and instead of HDMI be using SDI?
Any and all help is much appreciated and like I said above if anyone know people who have a setup like this I would like to get in contact with them.
Thanks

um im no technical guy, but my friend does a lot of video stuff. If you are capturing the video to go to youtube or something, you could try just having everyone record everything, and then just cut together all of the videos later on with editing software. Other than that, or for live streaming, i have no clue bro, sorry.

I know there are streaming type software programs out there that allow you to stream a single image with 4 smaller images contained inside of it. I'm not sure where you could find those type of programs but I know the 'Legendary' show does it somehow and those people aren't even connected to the same computer during that.
If no one here is able to help perhaps a google search would help? If that is indeed what you're looking for.

Ive posted this thread on a few forums and Ive been told that using VLC and streaming over Lan can sort this out for me. If anyone can shed some more light on this or a link to where I can learn how to do this would help a lot.
Thanks Dragonrom and Sas148 for your comments :)

There is probably software that they use for this.
With the VLC option this is what you could basically do:
Each of the 4 computer runs VLC and broadcasts over lan
Your main computer opens 4 VLC windows and collects each of the streams.
Then use a program like
Xsplit
that lets you choose which window to broadcast.
The only problems I for see is that you will be broadcasting a broadcast, so there might be additional lag. You would need to make sure that any audio that you are using is coming through the first broadcast, and not from the main computer so there wouldn't be a sinking issue.
Xsplit itself, has tons of options, maybe they have something that will let you take out the VLC step from the equation.
Cheers,
Hat

What Ive been told else where is to make an RTSP using VLC which I can do. The problem is then how to I add the RTSP into Xsplit. I assume its something involving my IP address followed by my Port so it would look something like RTSP://xx.x.xxx.xxx:8554/screen:// the x's being my IP. I would put that into Xsplit's RTMP URL when making a new Channel in Xsplit. But Im doing something wrong with the line involving my IP address I think.
