Because all that happened then was you traded one corrupt ass hole for another; at least with voting, there's a bit more leeway.

Okay, yes that was incredibly sarcastic, but I've never understood the mindset of those people who have to believe that the government/Illuminati/Aliens are behind everything...guess if it's not, they have to admit their lives are pretty %^&* on their own due to their own situations.

Films don't prove things. Scientific research can prove things (when the methodology can be replicated successfully by several different research groups).
Also, as a resident of Europe (though why people feel they ought to group such a widely varying group of people like that I don't know) I can confirm that we're not credulous fools over here.
People looked at the film JFK as
evidence

Edit: Hell, I'd be more likely to believe Fahrenheit 9/11 over Zeitgeist....but then again, anything Michael Moore shows I take with a dump truck sized grain of salt.
Everyone in my country says and believe that 9/11 was an inside job...well most of the Europeans do, but it's different from the view of the Americans in the policy they leave in.I truly doubt that; maybe you and your friends but not your entire country.

As for the 9/11 conspiracy theories, I am pretty sure no government would kill that many people purely to start a war - not because I feel that they wouldn't do it on an ethical basis, but if that kind of thing got into the open and was proved (I mean seriously proved, on an international level, not just some insane conspiracy theorists rambling about it on the internet) they would lose all chance of being re-elected and instantly ruin international relations.
No, if a government wanted to stage something like that, they would make sure that none of their own people were actually killed.
And, before you say I'm obviously blinded by Western propoganda, I live in NZ and I firmly believe a large reason for the US government going to war in the Middle East was for ulterior motives. At the same time, I feel that on an individual basis the reason so many Americans went to war was for what happened on 9/11 and NOT for ulterior motives.

Gamers are isolated from reality and aren't aware of the outside world? Let me guess you're the exception to the rule, we know little to nothing of what's going on outside of Azeroth/Westeros except for you and a few others?
Yet unlike you others in this thread have provided links/proof/sources showing how you're wrong. The mere fact that we're even using this forum implies we're on a computer or decent smartphone; that gives us access to a plethora of information besides just gaming information, I can literally find all of the major current events going on now in a few clicks of my mouse.
I'd consider myself a gamer yet I'd say I have a pretty good idea of what's going on in the outside world. I visit /r/politics 2-3 times a day, vew /r/worldnews on almost a daily basis,have cnn as one of my rss feeds along with other sources of information involving the political and overall current events ocurring throughout the world. I'm not isolated from reality and have a pretty decent idea of what's going on in the outside world.
To say you know what's going on and the rest of us are "isolated from reality" due to the fact that we play games is fool-hardy at best. It seems to me that if anything perhaps your perception of reality may be a bit distorted

Isn't it curious that Ms.Spears was born on December 2nd, the same day on the calendar as the first nuclear chain reaction during the manhaten project, which is all about death? And isn't it a little more than curious that she announced her engagement to K-fed in 2004? 2+0+0+4 = 6. And we know that three sixes is the sign of the devil. Also consider that her first movie debut was "Crossroads", and some would consider death to be a crossroads, of sorts. In that movie, a different actress falls down the stairs and loses a baby, which isn't just a coincidence that Ms.Spears was there. I think the conclusion is obvious.
