As the title says, uploading fails. I've tried running as admin etc but it still keeps giving the same error. Checked realmlist and it is corretly set to EU & I've never even played on a private server so idk what is wrong. Had no trouble uploading yestersay and earlier today but now *sigh*
Edit: And now it appers to have deleted my realmlist (clicked no when it asked about renaming the file etc)

Do you use the 64bit client? I remember that there were some problems because it uses a different realmlist file, though I thought these were fixed.

I'm actually using the 32bit client. Is it possible that there is some mix up between my MoPbeta and the retail game? They are on different harddrives and paths seem to be correct in the WoWHead Client.

The Wowhead Client specifically supports the separate installations for Live, PTR and Beta, so it shouldn't be that.
When you start and exit WoW, does that create the realmlist file again?

Well it must create it again since I can connect just fine, but I can't see the file anymore (even with show hidden files enabled).
Edit: Did a fresh install of WoW on a different pc and still getting the same error O.o

So no one has any clue how to fix this?

Are you sure you have the client pointed at the right client, and not an old install somewhere that still exists (which may or may not have issues with its realmlist or data).
Also, I hope the client doesn't just check the realmlist when it determines whether private servers, as that would be laughably easy to circumvent if one was so inclined.

Well it's the easiest way, and other methods of confirmation can be spoofed as well.

It is pointing to the right copy of WoW (always had the same install on gaming pc) and I clear my cache everytime I start playing so the data is fresh. Also the pc I did the fresh install on was reformated recently so there shouldn't be any old data around.

Next step I can think of is to uninstall the client (wowhead client) and reinstall it after a fresh boot to make sure its completely out of the memory - then check if the same problem presents.
If that still doesn't work, I think we need one of the techs to ask for and examine some specific log/system info (I can't remember what they usually ask for)

Reinstalled the WowheadClient and now it says it can't detect my WoW Live folder and that WoW might not be installed. If I manually point it to my WoW folder and try to upload data it still says private server data detected.

Is your World of Warcraft folder maybe called something other than "World of Warcraft"? If yes, just rename it to that. Might need to update your desktop shortcut (though it should find it by itself when you click it)

It is just simply D:\ World of Worldcraft so that shouldn't be the issue. Maybe I should just give up and try again when MoP is released.

WorldcraftIn case you didn't mistype this here, this could be the issue :P

:D That is what happens when I type and talk with someone at the same time. World of Warcraft is what the folder says (if I don't fail at reading too today).

Time to give up after trying 5 computers (3 of them had fresh installs of WoW). I was looking forward to collecting data when MoP is released and helping the community that way since I have loads of time to play.
