Alright I have leveled my shaman as a healer all the way to 80 and i want to do the cata quests. I duel-speced elemental so i could quest. I went to Vash'jir and did the first few quests but i realized it took me
forever
to kill the mobs. Seriously it took me 20mins to do the first three quests. I leveled a healer druid through the cataclysm quests but i guess being able to switch bear at any moment helped a bit. If anyone has any tips i would appreciate it.

Stormera, the Shaman
is his/her character.
Just from a quick glance, it looks like a "fun" set is equipped, not a combat-ready one. Among other things, there is no cloak or weapons equipped, and the items range from cloth (
Sly Mojo Sash
) and leather (
Shipwrecked Leggings
) all the way to mail - all your items should be mail at this point.
Piccolo of the Flaming Fire
and
Power-Infused Mushroom
aren't for combat in general, and the majority of the items are in the high 100's for item level - your character is very much in need of gear upgrades from quest rewards, crafting, or vendors.
You may want to look at the
Shaman: Elemental 101
guide by
binkenstein
, which includes a look at the stat preference for gear and reforging, rotations, and gemming you should follow.

Flame Shock (FS), Lava Burst (LvB) and Lighting Bolt (LB) should be plenty. Earth shock (ES) for when you get Fulmination and need to use ES to get rid of the extra charges of Lightning Shield. You can also use Frost Shock to slow them down some, but if you're using BoAs you should be able to kill them with just FS and LvB and maybe LB if they're not dead.
