- Specialization and Glyphs
There are only 2 well made raiding specializations. My preferred spec is
The Healer's ease, as i like to call it, while the alternative build that is just as efficient in DPS is
The CC Build which allows the use of the only available CC to paladins.
The first build relieves some stress on the healers by increasing the healing that you take from any source or that you create from WoG/Divine Storm by 2%, which can be a dramatic amount of increased healing during long encounters.
The second build allows for the use of Repentance, which I find to only be useful in PVP because just about any other class can CC. If you choose this build you may find Repentance a wasted talent because no one ever thinks of it and would rather ask for a polymorph or ice block.
Your only Viable glyphs are:
Prime GlyphsMajor Glyphs----------------------------------
A paladin can easily be one of the top DPS classes in your Dragon Soul raid with plenty of practice and as little mess-ups as you can have. Keep
up and follow this simple 7 spell priority for single-target DPS is
Make sure Inquisition is up at ALL TIMES. This dramatically increases your DPS. Recast inquisition with no more than 5 seconds left but never hit Templar's Verdict with Inquisition not active.
It is also very important that Inquisition and Templar's Verdict are ONLY used at 3 holy power. Inquisition will not last long enough to pump out a lot of Templar's Verdicts and Templar's Verdict hits for an insane amount more with 3 holy power than it does with 2.
Never cast Exorcism without the Art of War Proc.
For the alternative AOE DPS scenarios you want to replace your Seal of Truth with
and Crusader Strike with
Divine Storm if there are 4 or more creatures to attack.

- Stat Priority, Reforging, and Gemming
What good is your rotation when your gear is sloppy? You might have the Spells down and the perfect spec but the numbers wont be shining until your gear looks, and is, beautiful.
Start out with knowing your priorities. If you know, and understand, your priorities then you are much closer to understanding your class. Make sure to carve this into your eyelids:
Strength>8% Melee Hit Chance=26 Expertise>Mastery>Critical Strike?Haste Rating
Criticial Strike?Haste Rating is completely gear-based. If you have 5 or less pieces of heroic gear then Critical Strike is definitely better than haste. After getting into the 406ish ILVL Haste becomes arguably equal to Critical Strike and Completely becomes preference based. choose what you like better for your feel at that point.
Next thing to do is gem you gear. If you are cheep and have no gold, then start with
Bold Inferno Ruby,
Skillful Ember Topaz, and
Etched Demonseye. If you have to choose these gems then it is time for you to build a profession or 2 and check out
Tarou WoW Guides to make some gold and upgrade to the epic gems. The epic gems may not seem like a big jump but when you are decked out in epic gems you have about 100-150 more Strength than when you were straight rare gems. this little boost could be the difference between beating that stupid survival hunter or combat rogue, that happens to have the legendary daggers, at Damage Done or not.
Finally, Reforging correctly will give you the extra edge to kicking some butt at the Damage Done charts. When you reforge, make sure that you are as close to your 8.00% Hit chance Cap as you can while always being above it. every point above 8.00% is wasted and could be in another damaging stat while every point below it gives you the slight chance to miss and be a heavy damage loss. This goes the same with expertise. Make sure that you are as close to 26 as you can be while seal of truth or seal of Righteousness is active.
----------------------------------
Your gear is fine and dandy now and your spec is perfect while your execution of the priorities is on the dot but you still can't seem to pass that ballin' Arcane mage or that Truck of an Arms Warrior. Well, what are your last options? Assassinate them in their sleep? Hire mercenaries to do the dirty business for you? Or how bout some sleeping juice before tomorrow's raid?
No way! Let them live and throw in these few extra moves:
CooldownsExtra ConsumablesThe Big Boss Macro- /cast Avenging Wrath
/cast Zealotry
/cast Guardian of Ancient Kings
/cast Golemblood Potion
/cast {Trinket Name}
If this didn't work then you have a gear problem and your last resort is completely getting rid of them. I hope this works for you guys and I am very sorry for any typos that are made, i sketched this together in about 3 hours from about 3ish to 6:30 in the morning with no previous sleep. If you spot any typos, feel free to be a grammar nazi.
