As of yet in the beta you will be able to play monks right off the bat, no level needed (:

Right off the bat. The only thing you must do to access the Monk class (for any race) is
purchase Mists of Pandaria
.
Monks start at level 1.

Monks are not a hero class, so they start at 1, and have no requirements, other than upgrading your account to Mists of Pandaria status.
Also, why did you felt the need to make 3 threads about the same subject?

I'm kinda glad that are starting at level 1. This will make it to where that won't be insanely overpopulated at max level like DKs were in WotLK.

Don't be so sure about that.

yep, The reason there were so many DKs at 80 on wrath was because they were a new class, not because they started at 55.
Notice how in cataclysm, the number of people with Dks who actually leveled them to 85 and geared them up was nowhere near as high. Why? it was just 5 levels, why did this happen? because they were new no more.
Monks will likely experience the exact same surge in numbers during MoP, with lots of people leveling at least 1 (though unlike the DK, you can make more than 1 monk per realm) to 90. Yet I'm willing to bet all my gold that on the expansion that comes after MoP, not everyone who leveled a monk to 90 will level them to 95/100

I have to disagree. I came into Cata very late (bit after 4.3) - had a break from WoW near the end of WoTLK - and the amount of DKs you meet while leveling 80-85 is way higher than anything else.
On the 3 chars I got at 85 now, and have had multiple runs with 3xDKs in my dungeon groups. Also when gearing up my resto druid in herocis I mostly got DK tanks. When I geared up my warrior in LFR and dungeons there were sooo many DKs I never got any loot till I started raiding normal mode. You can not join a random battleground without there being a DK, but more often than not another class will be missing. When I leveled my priest (started that in Cata, so that was from 1-85) I leveled as disc/atonement in dungeons I had a streak from 73-77 where I ONLY healed DK tanks. The second I could go outland dungeons I NEVER missed a tank. Before outland I could often wait long periods for a tank, but from 58-85 I never waited more than 5 minutes.
It's only in arena, rbgs, normal/hc raiding they are not overrepresented because people get to pick what to bring for those. They are still high in numbers, much higher than any other class, and I think it's because they start at 55.
Im not saying it's a bad thing, Im just saying DKs are high, high, high in numbers.

That is true. One does not simply walk into an Outland instance without being surrounded by DK scrubs.

But now those DK scrubs will be surrounded by Monk scrubs of all races and creeds.

This site pulls data right from the Armory and presents it in much a prettier manner.
That is a great site, also I noticed it has recorded of the more then 20 characters on US realms DK's account for slightly more then 10%.

Some insane stats on that site. My realm (Demon Soul) has always been plagued by population imbalance. 6,999 Alliance to 24,701 Horde. As a result the Alliance side have never had any progression raiding guilds, while the Horde side have had quite a few.
Still got nothing on Illidan: 16,762 Alliance to 230,157 Horde! Holy crap!
Actually it's interesting sorting the realms by Alliance:Horde ratio - all of the famous realms have massive imbalances. For example Kel'Thuzad is famous for its Alliance PvP community and its population is massively biased towards Alliance, while the reverse is true for Mal'Ganis.
