[MoP] TrapLauncher & Feezing Trap !Bug!

hey guys!
i found a really annoying bug on the MoP beta realms
when i activate TrapLauncher and instantly choose FreezingTrap i get a GCD so i have to wait the GCD and only then i can choose the trap.
but when i activate TR und wait maybe 1/2 of a second i dont get a GCD and can choose the trap without the GCD.
it has to be a bug, people can't be punished for klicking their spells fast...
by the way, i don't use a macro for this, but this also happend when i tryed to use one
i hope you understand me, my english ist very bad, sorry for this.
all hunter playing arena, please announce this on the american forum if you'r able to, so we dont have do deal with it when the next season starts

This happens on live too.
Edit: Forgot to mention it's been happening for the last few patches and it is very obvious the implementation is deliberate.

that can not be deliberate that people get an extra gcd when they are using their spells fast...
i really dont get it... after they fixed the scatter break bug people have to deal with this now?

thats like... if u want to sheep as a mage or fear as wl and so on, you have to wait first 1/2 of a second to do it, otherwise you get a FULL GCD
am i the only one who thinks that it has to be changed?.....

You do know that in MoP you can have your trap launcher permanately activated dont you . I have never turned mine off so I have never had the problem you discribed

I actually jsut came back here to reply to this;
Indeed in MoP it is NOT a bug, you simply toggle between traplauncher and not, its a quality of life improvement that I recall seeing hunters ask for back in the cata beta.

you can't say it's not a bug, ther are situations where you have to cancle TL to place snake trap fast and when you try to scatter trap after this with TL you'r bound to being not so swift as you are used to.

It is NOT a bug, it is working as intended. Trap launcher is now a GCD incurring toggle when you activate it (you can just /cancelaura to toggle it off).
In other words, working as intended.
Now if you have issues with the redesign, I suggest you go to the official forums and state them, to see if they will take TL off the GCD

It was actually implemented shortly after the Scatter Break bug was fixed. In addition, even before they put a hard GCD, it was doing it (sometimes) but there was no display for it. I was so fast with launching traps I kept having this issue and getting an error that I "couldn't do that yet."
Speaking of Scatter Break. I had more of a problem with the absurd "wander" range they put on Scatter Shot. The radius is so large it's possible for traps to fail to hit even if you land it dead center.

TL has only a GCD for itself.... not for the other spells.
even if TL is in its own GCD it is possible to choose and place a trap
the point is, if you'r using TL and try instantly to choose a trap you get a GCD for ALL spells....
BUT if you wait maybe 20k milliseconds(while TL is in its own GCD) and choose a trap you dont get any GCD....
how this cannot be bug?
of course people that are not using their traps fast enought dont even recognize this

Just delete the G in my previous post, I of course meant that TL is a CD incurring toggle (been writing too much about GCDs lately)
If you wait 20k milliseconds I would hope it works (thats 20 seconds), the cd is over and you had time to do 20 other abilities.
If you are complaining because of "fast usage" you must be using a macro, perhaps you should share the macro so we can debug that?

No, I didn't watch the video.
Why even use miliseconds? just say "2 seconds" - and you do not have to wait 2 seconds unless you have dirt poor latency and have to wait for the server to acknowledge that you toggled TL before using your trap.
I've actually tested this a bit today (while waiting fro some capture pandarens to spawn - they didn't), and no matter how fast I go from traplauncher to a trap without a macro, there is no GCD incurred.
What DOES happen, is that I incur a CD on TL, and I incur a trap shared CD (which is there to avoid spamming through a lot of traps while using TL) and get a targetting reticule.

As I don't know the site, I don't go there, simple.
if you mean a quarter of a second, say so, please (though i seriously doubt you actually are at a quarter of a second, human reaction time is usually 0.3 second for some of the fastest reactions)
You present the socalled bug in the first post, from what you are telling and from what you say to clarify, it is not a bug, just a case of not understanding how TL works in the new implementation, and how traps work.

twich is a streaming site known by many player... you should first check the video material out before you post anything on someone's thread

I don't care of it is a site "known by many players" I don't follow links I don't know the destination of on gaming related sites - safety rule number 1.
And no, you don't have to wait a quarter of a second, though I'd be amazed if you could actually pull off casting a toggle and THEN activating an ability in less without a macro (I don't think you have any idea how little time a quarter of a second is the way you keep going on about "having to wait")
What you do have to do, is wait your latency (times 2) to get the targetting reticule, as TL is a toggle, and needs to be acknowledged and accepted on the server before letting your client know that, yes, you activated the toggle, before you can use the trap.
What you may be encountering (and the video would not help in that) is that you simply have high latency (I know I have a higher latency to the beta servers than to live), and when the server acknowledges TL toggle to the client, it also cancels the trap the client thinks you laid down - this behavior has long been known to cause the GCD to "finish" (minus the double latency) - this is a technical limitation, likely designed to prevent a lagged queue to the server that can't execute as everything is sent with the wrong state.
IOW; its not a bug, its your connection.
