I have just gotten back to WoW. Been leveling up as feral cat though. Turned 90 yesterday and started to get into what dmg. Blizzard had done to resto druids this time:D
Quick Evaluation
I dont have a full resto gear set yet. So I just tried a normal 5 man instance as healer. Though it was only one run, there was a couple of things that caught my attention.
It seems there are a couple more ways to do healing which I tried out. To keep this short, I think its best to only use the general things that there is to heal with. The Wild Mushrooms can heal quite much, but it takes time to get 3 down and then blow em up. Think they were a bit mana heavy too.
One Dungeon Run
I focused on getting 3-5 Rejuvenations out and ofc. 3 Lifeblooms on tank. With the Lifebloom Glyph I was able to move a 3 stacked Lifebloom on one of the DPS when they took some dmg. Then back on the tank right after. If more ppl. were taking dmg. I used either Wildgrowth or Swiftmend to get them up. In between I used Noursish to keep Harmony(Mastery) up as much as possible, and I used the Regrowth/Healing Touch when I had the OoC proc, depending on which was needed and able to use best. Even though I had the 3 trees chosen from talents I forgot to use them. I got them tried out in the end, and they just spam Healing Touch on the raid/party until they wear out. No matter if the target has full health or not, they just heal.... Duracell bunny trees:D
Conclusion
Since the mana pool is dead set, we have to turn towards spirit for keeping mana up. From what it looks like now, highest priority after spirit is int/mastery which will both increase your healing. Then comes haste and finally crit. I dont think Nature's Swiftness is worth having, because you can then get another HoT spell(forgot the name) that has half the CD as NS does.
The trees seems like a good spell. Only having a 1 in CD it gives your healing a new angle, because there is suddenly 4 healers for a short period of time:D
Thats what my sponge of a brain had to come up with for now:D
