I bet it's about that time to re-post the now canon/legit bio of Zilcar.
Soon to come.

Three things:
guildies
This is probably a bad word choice for a fic, imo.
Curious, he looked up and saw a scourge Arch-angel
The term is Val'kyr. They're the Handmaidens of the Lich King and act as his main necromancers.
Lastly, how can he have a wife and son if he's a Death Knight? Death Knights are dead, they can't reproduce (for obvious reasons).
Otherwise, it's an interesting story, but it seems to be less of a story and more of a summary. Perhaps you could try writing a story based on one or two of these events?

I gotta say, I'm really happy for the feedback i've had so far. I can understand this not being a full short story, Since I pretty much ripped most of this out from my characters Bio word for word. I'll see about getting into a more indepth story later, though as of now, this is a generalization of my character... so to speak.
Also, as pointed out by the first post, the suggestions have been fixed. Thank you for pointing them out!

I'm glad to help, and I'd love to see some stories from this character in the future =)

They can have family before they die
Considering the time of your post, you probably saw the edited version. It was implied that he married and had the wife AFTER he was turned in the original.

Death knights can still give birth.
No they can't. They're dead. Their reproductive organ wouldn't work.

Death knights can still give birth.
How? They are corpses, so just like the Forsaken, they can't reproduce biologically.

Ok, I guess now would be a good time to clear things up. I'm certainly going to revise the story and make it much longer / more specific, though Zilcar's wife was used as a surrogate body, in a way. Through both fel magic and the "help" of his friend... Riku was born.

Eh, wouldn't go with Fel Magic in that regards; after all, as the ultimate corrupting force in Azerothian existence, those who use the Fel can't create only twist, corrupt and mar things that already live and are free.

I'd go with arcane/nature magic for that. It doesn't necessarily have to be "clean," even if it is nature.
