I've been playing as Survival for a long time, and now with the patch and the buffs BM is getting I decided to give it a try, but I have some doubts about the CDs. Right now I have
(some skills are with outdated tooltips):
(now has a 3 min CD)
Blood Fury
(deals
200%
its normal attack damage)
(now a CD that increases your pet's AP by 50% for 20 sec and has a 1 min 24 sec CD)
Bestial Wrath
(1 min CD because of
Exotic Beasts
)
Dire Beast
And
(now has a 5 min CD)
to reset them all (except
Blood Fury
).
1. I read that I should never use
Bestial Wrath
while
/
Bloodlust
is active, because of
. There are several fights in which I pre-pot and
Bloodlust
is used at the beggining of the encounter. So, which CDs should I combo with the
Potion of the Tol'vir
and the
Bloodlust
given that I will use
Bestial Wrath
as soon as the haste buff ends?
2. If
Bloodlust
is set to be activated only in the middle of the fight, should I start with
and my "haste buff combo" or use my other CDs, given that I always pre-pot?
3. Does
Dire Beast
benefit from any CD?
4. Should I wait for my pet to reach 5 stacks of
Frenzy
before using
Bestial Wrath
?
5. Should I leave
(the new one) on autocast?
6. In
's tooltip it's said that my pet will charge from target to target 9 times dealing 200% of its
normal
attack damage to each target. Does it mean that if I use a CD along with
, my pet will not benefit from it in this skill? Also, if there's only one target, will it hit this target nine times or only once? I took it because I tought it would hit nine times in single target...
I know it's a lot of questions, but I wouldn't feel good playing in a spec without knowing what I'm doing. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear in some point, English isn't my first language.

A couple that I can help you out with.
#4..yes. If you can time DW with 5 stack Frenzy, that is the best use of the cooldown.
#6....Lynx Rush will hit a single target, or multiples if there are more. Timing it with Bestial Wrath is better.....BW and 5 stacks of Frenzy....best.
#1....you are correct. Using other CD, including lust with Bestial Wrath is not the best use of the CD's. You will gain more by using your CDs without the lust than you will with it, due to capping on haste, and hitting the GCD.

1: that is correct, ithough as I've also said, you should not use it during BL UNLESS it means you will olose a BW over the course of the fight - in other words, if your group starts a fight with BL, use BW as you normally would, and just go through the priority you would. The gain we get from BL, RF and FF are very minor because the only active ability that gains from it is CoS, our lowest priority ability. (For completeness, we also gain a little for the rest because of increased focus regen).
2: you should leave RF till just before you start CoS'ing, and not pop it during BW (which you should have 2 of back to back in the beginning thanks to readiness - be sure to pop Readiness when both BW, KC and LR are on CD)
3: reportedly DB does benefit from BW (looking at the claims made on the beta classforums saying BM has too much burst), but I have not verified this myself, and I do believe that the sims do not scale it with BW. DB does however scale with haste, but should be used on CD (unless KC is up at the same time) regardless.
4: no, with 5.0.4 frenzy will on average take 37.5 seconds to build to 5 stacks, so you should ignore frenzy for BW - apart from not using Focus Fire when you are about to BW of course.
5: If you use Rabid more or less on CD manually, that is better (timing it with other abilities), if you don't, its better to leave it on autocast. (My advice for easy control, macro it to BW)
6: Lynx Rush will stay on the single target if that is all there is, and it will scale with BW - however, be aware that while LR is active the pet will sometimes be in front of the target, so KC before LR, to avoid a parry (whcih can happen from the front even if you are hit and exp capped for hunter purposes)

Correction to the suggestion on Rabid - if you have Lynx Rush, macro it there (I misremembered the cooldown)
