Hello im trying very hard to make this macro!
Frozen Orb 1 MIN Cd
Frost Bomb 8 SEC Cd
Im trying to Cast Frozen Orb and then right after cast Frost Bomb. This is working the first time it i casts Fozen Orb then Frost Bomb
But Frost bomb is 8 sec cds, and when im trying to cast frost bomb again, it wont let me me cause it's waiting for the Frozen Orb Cd First!
How can i avoide Frozen Orb Cd and then just go cast Frost Bomb.
This macro starts over, and i cant cast cause Frozen Orb Is first and it is waiting for that cooldown before i can throw Frost Bomb.
Im using /castsequence Frozen Orb, Frost Bomb
Will it be more easy to use Mwheelup on this macro? Or can it work the same with just 2 pressed on the button
Would u help a noob like me? thank you

If you don't mind some button mashing, you could do:
#showtooltip
/castrandom frozen orb, frost bomb
The first spell to cast will obviously be inconsistent, but you'll have both spells on one button without modifier keys.

Because of Paladins coming up with perfect rotation macros by chaining a bunch of
/castrandom
s back in BC (or was it WTLK?), they changed
/castrandom
. It will now
choose
a spell at random, but stick on that spell until it successfully casts. So you cannot circumvent cooldowns with this.
I'm not sure if you could find a way to hack it up with
/castsequence
, using a null entry with a reset condition. But I'm strongly inclined to say you cannot. The point is, a macro should not be able to make this decision for you, and if you came up with some clever way to make it do so, it would be patched as soon as the devs found out about it.

I bow to your knowledge.
Just put a modifier on the macro and call it a day I guess.
#showtooltip
/use Frozen Orb; Frost Bomb

I disagree, this is exactly the kind of thing that castsequence was designed for... It's not making a decision, it's doing predetermined actions. The only problem in the OP's original macro is that there's not enough actions to account for the cooldown.
/castsequence reset=60 frozen orb, frost bomb, frost bomb, frost bomb, frost bomb, frost bomb, frost bomb, frost bomb, frost bomb
This will cast Frozen Orb, then Frost Bombs until 60 seconds have passed, after which time it is assumed that the cooldown has ended & Frozen Orb returns. I've put 8 x Frost Bomb casts because while 8x8=64, the first cast won't require waiting for a cooldown so it's really 0+(7x8)=56, making 8 casts within 60 seconds theoretically possible/required. However, if you're not in a boss fight or heavy PvP, it's unlikely you'll need to use all 8 casts, hence the reset condition.
It's really that simple.

The reset timer starts over with each press of the macro. If the caster is on the 5th frost bomb when the CD on frozen orb expires, there are still 3 more the macro has to cycle through before getting back to frozen orb.
The macro as presented would work optimally if (and only if) the actions were taken as soon as possible. This MIGHT present an issue if frost bomb and frozen orb weren't numbers one and two in the frost priority rotation, but I don't know enough about frost to comment on that aspect of it.

Ah - you know, I'd never seen that happen in play; I'd only ever used it on long-period stuff though, so it's possible I just didn't realise it was taking a few seconds longer out of a couple of minutes. That kind of screws the whole concept up! I guess a Combat conditional could be added so that it resets between fights, but that means that if you're doing some chain pulls & drop combat briefly you'd still be screwed... :(
Looks like the modifier may well be the simplest option after all. I retract my answer in favour of that.

This is going to be the best bet. Handles the mob changes, combat drops, etc without having you stuck in the middle of a castsequence macro.

Tbh, just have seperate binds for them, as you'll be more flexible for situations, you may want to frostbomb someone and not use your frozen orb yet, it's not always best to use absolutely everything together.
