hello everyone,
i have downloaded the new patch 5.0.4 and i have choose BM spec. my armory is:
http://eu.battle.net/wow/pt/character/burning-steppes/Sjmtuga/simple
i m working on my set, tomorow i ll buy my 4 piece set. and after i ll try to buy the bow.
my problem is that i do low dps, maybe because of my weapon, dunno.
i usually use: hunter mark, serpent sting, arcane shot, cobra shot, kill command. this is my usual "rotation". with the new talents i also use dear beast. my question is if i m doing something wrong, maybe some spell i dont use.
as enchants and gems, i dont realy want to spent a lot of money before MoP comes out.

I'd probably just duel a lot until you get a good idea of how to play Hunter. In general you keep you distance and rotate between Cobra Shot and all your Focus cost abilities. In addition to this, you need to keep snare uptime (especially on melee targets) and make use of whatever talents you have when needed.
There is no definitive rotation and you need to find out what works best in each situation.
Do not do Battlegrounds too much. PvP Power makes healers so ridiculous it would be torturous to do so.

I have a BM hunter specced and geared for PvP (half ruthless, half cata gear and
Horrifying Horn Arbalest
) and I get by pretty well with
spam and
, with the occasional
to boost focus in extended fights. I have specced for
and the proc from this means that in a straight one on one, it is highly unlikely I run out of focus. The rest of my build is quite similar to the posts above, Mirrored Blades, Exhilaration and the like and kiting melee classes all over the place. For me it works a treat with Skoll as my pet :)
Also:

I have to disagree, dueling is fine to test a build one on one, but from my experience I rarely have any one on ones in a Battleground, and I am yet to find a problem with healers and PvP power also. But alas, each to his own :)
Hope this helps somewhat.
