Go to Silithus, grind the Twilight Cultists mobs, Profit as you get lots of cloth..
Also, look up the website wow-professions dot com, it helps.

Check out the Darkmoon Faire. There are profession quests there that give you +5. But you can only do it once per darkmoon faire.

There aren't any dailies for Tailoring, or for any of the main professions except Jewelcrafting.
Having just done this myself, I know that there are some basic trainer taught recipes that require nothing but runecloth and vendor-sold thread and dye- and not any rare or expensive reagents- that will easily take you from 280-300.
Runecloth tends to be one of the cheaper cloths available, but if the price tag is too high on the AH, the your only option is to go farm it off of appropriate level mobs. If you solo late vanilla instances, that should get you all the Runecloth you need. Do Sunken Temple, or BRD, or Hellfire Ramps- a decent amount should drop in there.

None for tailoring? I distinctly remember sewing flags or someting like that and setting them up in the fair area. Was that removed? And brewing some fizzy drink with alchemy. And shoing a horse with blacksmithing. Were all those removed?

There's a monthly quest for Darkmoon fair that awards 5 points- that's true. I was saying there were no dailies for it, which is what the OP asked about.

Inscription has the Forged Document daily now as well. Doesn't give you tokens or new glyphs, but you do earn a fat sack of gold, and they are orange all the way to max.
