Spend Justice and Honor now or wait until MoP?

Yes, there have been so many topics about this, but none have the answer for me.
I have 3600 JP on my warlock, and 2600 HP. Should I wait until Tuesday, or spend them on Cataclysmic gear? I don't know how quickly Cataclysmic gear will be replaced, and I don't know what to do.

For some reason, Wowhead made 2 copies of my topic?

Save it. You'll be replacing your Cata gear by level 87-88.

I would say save it, except in 1 situation.
You have crappy gear now (ilvl 350 or below) AND you are an enchanter. Having a piece of 397 gear now, means you can DE a bunch of extra quest rewards in Jade Forest and V4W. If you sell those mats, they will earn a lot of gold the first week.
JP at 90 isn´t as valuable as it was in Cata... it buys blue gear that is a tier below heroic dungeon gear ( 450 vs 463). it will be nice to use it to boost your ilvl to be able to queue for heroics, but if you quest through TS and DW, it really isn´t needed.

Guessing but I think your unspent JP will convert to Gold once MoP releases. If you need gear I would spend it seeing it will make leveling easier. If your hard up for Gold save it and it will most likely give you a decent amount. To allow a uncapped amount of JP to transfer into MoP doesn't make sense. So either they will do what I stated above or they will enforce a cap like before and pay Gold out to what is over that cap.

1. There is already a cap on JP.. 4000
2. Your JP does not convert to gold tonight
3. You cannot spend your current JP until you get to level 90, you also will need to be honored with some factions before the vendors are available.

Save it, for plenty of reasons.
1: Unlike cataclysm, there is a vendor on the first pandaria zone (Jade Forest) that sells a full set of green that will replace any crappy piece of gear you may have. This is because when transitioning from WOTLK to Cata if you had WOTLK epics, then leveling on Hyjal and Vashjir was easy, but if you had WOTLK greens and blues (in other words: Alts) it was BRUTALLY HARD.
This is no longer the case for MoP. If you have CATA epics, then leveling will be easy, and if you have CATA greens and blues, they'll be replaced by MoP greens immediately. And these greens are 384 ilvl.
2: As mentioned in the previous point, any gear you currently buy with JP/HP will be quickly replaced even if there was no vendor. By the time you reach Kun-Lai Summit any gear from CATA you may have (including legendaries) will be long gone.
3: JP and HP WILL NOT convert to gold UNLESS YOU HAVE MORE THAN 4000. Anything below 4000 WILL REMAIN WITH YOU. This is a good oportunity to nab some quick items once you're level 90 (Justice Items will require honored reputation with each of the factions, Valor Gear will require Revered)
4: The only exception to this rule is trinkets. If you don't have any good trinkets, use your JP to buy one now. Trinkets are generally harder to replace, because their procs tend to be quite good regardless of ilvl.

Little fix there Rank, the vendor greens are 372 but yeah the quest ones are 384.

Seems odd they would allow carry over, I guess I'll see early tomorrow morning. I haven't seen a official post stating I'm right or wrong. What it boils down to for me anyways is making leveling as easy as possible at first. Obtaining gear at end game is the least of my worries at this point seeing I have a flock of alts to level and loads of other things I want to do.
Come on seriously who likes to struggle in the first zone? If you feel your gear is decent save it if not I would be some to make it easier on yourself.

To be honest the zones seem to be designed around having Cataclysm greens and blues. Still a bit of a jump like Wrath -> Cataclysm, but you're not going to be banging your head into a wall trying to 1v1 mobs.

Players who have trouble questing even in last expansions green gear ( ie 333 stuff for mop) will only have trouble because they either don´t know how to pull, or else they don´t know their healing/survival abilities yet. You can´t just charge in and pull 3 mobs and expect to just dps them down one at a time.

Why does it seem odd, they allowed it in Cata. I had 4k JP when cata launched also. They have already done two steps in prep of this. When 5.0 launched, they converted VP to JP... then about 2 weeks ago, the reduced everyone who was over 4k JP down to 4k JP and sent them gold for the lost JP.
The reason to have 4K JP when you hit 90 is so you can buy 2 or 3 ilvl 450 items for your bad slots. This will get you over the bump and allow you to enter heroics without having to spend money on the AH or grind non-heroic dungeons hoping for a drop for those 3 slots. Because of the spirits of harmony thing, AH gear will not be cheap the first 2 week.
And as far as leveling.. even if you have like 333 gear now, getting 3 pieces of 397 gear is not going to make much of a different in your leveling time. The few minutes you save in Jade Forest will be dwarfed by the amount of time you are grinding non-heroics at 90 hoping for a drop for 3 gear spots so you can do heroics.
