My macro doesn't cut it anymore so I need to know how to play my class until a good one arrives

Can't help you with the rotation bit, but in general, isn't it
always
good to know how to play your class?

See that's the point of leveling it, to learn how to play the class rather then just relying on a macro. Howerver:
Black Out Kick opener if you have full Chi, if not, use Jab a few times to get it.
With the Black Out Kick debuff/buff up, 3x Tiger Palm to get the self buff up.
After that point, whatever you find most useful.
For AoE packs, just swap Spinning Crane Kick with Tiger Palm after doing Black Out Kick.

I've read that the following is a good rotation.
- Jab, Jab, Jab
- Rising Sun Kick
- Tigereye Brew
- Energizing Brew
If not dead, Jab, Jab, Jab...

No Tiger Palm, no Blackout Kicks, I don't think that's a good rotation lol!

Monks don't really have a rotation, more of a priority system.
Its a matter of answering these questions:
Is the debuff of Rising Sun Kick on the mob? If not use RSK.
Is the Armor Pen buff from tiger palm on you? if not, use TP until you have 3 stacks.
Is Fists of Fury off cooldown? if so, use fists of fury.
Is Tigereye brew at 10 stacks? if so, use it.
Is all of the above done? use Blackout Kick.
Personally, I start with RSK, then 3 TP, then (if on a boss) pop Tigereye brew, use Xuen (lvl 90 talent) and Fist of Fury.
After that, its: Use RSK on cooldown, refresh the TP buff once every 20 seconds, use FoF on cooldown, and fill the gaps with blackout kick.
Of course, if you get any charges of Combo Breaker (your mastery) then use them.
The 2 highest priorities to maximize damage is to have the RSK debuff on the target at all times (it makes them take 15% more damage from all your skills) and to have the TP buff on you at all times (since it makes all your skills ignore 30% of the enemy armor). As long as those 2 are true, fill the actual DPS gaps with FoF and BK.
For AoE is a lot simpler, RSK, followed by as many spinning crane kicks as it takes. If there's less than 4 targets, FoF.
