If I have Mists of Pandaria, does that mean I can play the Litch King story?

Hello,
I used to play a few years back and am just getting back into things. I never completed WOTLK but am wondering if I upgrade to Mists, can I still play those story lines? Or is the best way to go about playing all of them by upgrading one version at a time?

I'm kind of confused on the whole subject so if someone could clarify that'd be sweet.

If you upgraded all the way to MoP, you can play through everything the game has to offer, so this includes playing through the storyline of WotLK by questing through the zones. Enjoy yourself, take it easy and experience the lore, it's really nice :)
