I got myself a flawless battle-pet stone, one for any type. But im stressing out over what pet to use it on.
So to lighten my mood, of your pets which would you choose and why?

I'd go for a pet you like visually, but that you didn't take to pet battles yet because it was only uncommon.

I'd say go to
this dude's
amazing pet calculator which shows you the stats of your pet at level 25, at any hypothetical quality. Then you can see which of your pets would kick the most ass as a rare.
I actually don't like that there are stones that can change the quality of your pet, but this falls in the general context of my 'they're making everything too easy' rant. I like the thrill of capturing a rare pet.

I would use it on
Peddlefeet
. Awesome unique abilities, but only uncommon rarity.
So far I have had a stone to upgrade a critter and a mechanical pet. Critter I chose
Mr Wiggles
(for his unique ability) and Mechanical I chose
Tranquil Mechanical Yeti
(for unique combination of abilities).

One critter battle stone should definitely be used for mister
Wolpertinger
.
Also, by the great Shen-zin Su, I must get my hands on a
Mr. Wiggles
. Also, holy ^&*! that is a pretty creepy pet description. Does anyone actually read those? I wonder if there are other hidden pearls like that one. Reminds me of some of the super-creepy pokédex entries that some pokémon have.

I LOVE my Peddlefeet. At level 20 he took out the last two of the legendary pets from the air spirit. :D My husband used one of his humanoid stones on it because I didn't want to use the flawless one I found. I named him Rugged Love, hes too cute and I love the sounds of his attacks.
But honestly, if I were to use the stone, I would use it on something that's hard to find. I have yet to find a beast stone... flying is also rare I think. But I have only even heard of a dragon stone dropping once before. Maybe my friends are just unlucky though.
Either way, what I wouldn't do is use it on a pet you can catch in the wild. You can always be patient and get a rare quality one to show up. Except maybe the minfernal or scourge whelping. People still are camping those.

I tend to use those on companion pets that only come in uncommon or lower variety, that you can't catch wild. Occasionally, I'll use one on a wild pet that is hard to find. I used my last one on my Scourged Whelp, and I have to say it wrecks a lot of face. I would recommend it for people who have the option.

I think it really depends on whether or not you want to be considerate and/or are a pet collector.
If you are a pet collector, I would recommend using it on one of the rarer pets that you have, if it's not rare quality.
i.e Minfernal, Scourged Whelpling, etc.
This way you get an awesome pet, with the desired rarity, without costing others the opportunity to capture that pet as well.
Anyway, just my two cents.

Repeating/rephrasing my statement when this thread was created, and seconding ElhonnaDS, I'd use them primarily on non-wild pets, which you cannot "upgrade" via farming, and only
maybe
on those 'rare' wild pets which you can't seem to find a rare version of, but only if I'd really want to use it in my team.
" 'd" because my gaming computer is currently broken
