Why should there be such stupid kick restrictions?

1. Player cannot be kicked during combat,
or shortly after combat.
2. Player cannot be kicked for another <time>.
3. Only up to two people can be kicked.

It's to prevent people from abusing the system.
1. Otherwise people could kick other users just before or right after a boss dies to prevent them from rolling on the loot.
2. This restriction is a bit annoying, it's meant to prevent people from booting someone as soon as they get in for reasons not performance related. However the timer seems to be over the top long sometimes.
3. It's because you should try to beat the dungeon even if you have one or more not so great players, even if it means it'll take longer or you'll wipe a few times. If this restriction wasn't in place people would just kick lower geared players till they got a well geared player. Or groups of guildies/friends could just constantly kick people for the fun of it.
I can count the times I've had to kick someone from a group on one hand, and 4 out of those 5 are because of DC's or AFKs.

Also abusing it so that you get kicked becouse you have capability for rolling on gear. Like a semi-guild run with 3-4 people that kicks you becouse you have the same armour type as one of the guildies for example...

The restrictions are there for a reason, but I have encountered where someone went AFK right at the beginning of the instance and we kept getting the "you cannot initiate anymore party kicks," when we hadn't kicked anyone.
I wish there was a way to make it so if someone goes AFK for 5 minutes they'd be booted. That'd be nice.

Once they DC you can kick and ignore the time and total party kick rule... I think. (Perhaps it works on <AFK> players?)

The time depends on the your number of kicks. For example if you constantly kick people timer will be longer than if you never kicked anyone.

Pretty sure there's a 10-15 minute wait time before you can start kicking. I never kick anyone bare someone whose been DC for a few minutes and I always get a 10-15 minute wait time.

I kicked someone at 30ish and it was less than 5 minutes. I haven't kicked many people on any char before that though.

This is something that never bothered me until last week when I was trying to level my DK tank through Northrend dungeons. Of about 15-20 dungeons that day I encountered at least 8 where someone went AFK right at the start. It's a complete pain because all loot rolls take forever, and worse than that, if you find a group who are working really well and want to blast through a ton of dungeons (apart from the AFKer, of course), you can't requeue together at the end of the dungeon because obviously the AFKer won't select any roles and you can't kick after the dungeon is completed. I understand the problem of people kicking straight after a boss fight so that a player won't get any loot, but gaaaaah....
Even worse, we even had one who just pretended to be AFK i.e. sat at the instance entrance and didn't do anything, but still rolled on the loot >.<
A healer AFK'd in VOA, and even initiating a kick in that dungeon is a pain because you're never out of combat long enough.
Overall, a load of frustrating idiots in a short space of time really made me hate the kick rules.
I agree that the rules are there for a reason, but there needs to be some amendments, such as the rules are suspended if a player has been inactive for a certain time. That might clear up some frustration!

I had queued for a heroic and got the "enter dungeon" which wouldn't work to enter because they were in combat... with the final boss. So, I got to wait for the dungeon, never entered it, then got the punishment of waiting another 10 minutes to even queue again. :-|

sadly every single restriction in the LFD vote-kick system was introduced cause people abused it.
blame the players not blizzard, since their hand was forced too add the restrictions cause honest players got kicked for stupid reasons.

3. Only up to two people can be kicked.
1. To be honest I don't really like this and funnily, despite the fact it's always been "implemented" in this manner, it was possible to kick people mid-combat for a time. However, I can hazard a guess that it is to prevent people from being screwed out of loot if, on the off chance, the people kicking are trolls. On the other side someone could be troll facepulling though (repeatedly if they're smart). This might be something Blizzard needs to work out at some point.
2. This is largely based on how often you use the Vote to Kick option. It's sort of a way to prevent an individual from abusing/relying on the Vote to Kick option. Also, I think it might be based on other factors, such as how many players have been removed from group and so on (I really hate when it goes up to like 4 hours lol).
3. Didn't know about this, to be honest. I never knew there was a kick limit. I also don't have much of a problem with it since, like 2., players shouldn't rely on Vote to Kick to resolve all their issues.
