Having trouble linking items in comments...

Somebody told me it was (enter item's number in place of the X,) but all that gets me is some yellow text saying "(item#12345)"
ie it doesn't work.
I don't think I'm doing anything wrong... help?

One way is to link items ID thats how I do. It will automaticly turn items ID into name and link.

You are doing it right.
Weh it ends up as (item#XXXXX) afterwards, its a cache issue, not an error on your part.

Normally, it only show that in post preview. It'll be right when you submit the message.

Nooska and AnrDaemon are correct. Unless the thread itself has already pulled the item information up (meaning someone else already made a link to it), in your preview it's just going to show up as yellow text (item=xxxxxx). However, once you submit the data will be pulled from the server and should appear correctly. If not, you can always 'edit' and fix the issue.(##RESPBREAK##)12##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##
