How does Gurubashi phasing work? I recently joined a group in Gurubashi and seemed to phase to a different realm with a different Short John Mithril. Is this possible? What controls which realm one is on?
Initially, when Gurubashi phasing was introduced, it seemed like all realms were combined, because there were many more people showing up. But after this phasing experience, one wonders are there multiple realms fighting for multiple chests? How many realms host Gurubashi? Are they staggered hours? Is it possible to find and phase to a realm with a different chest every hour or every three hours? If it is possible to control which realm, how does one accomplish and control realm change?

All world event timers are set to your local realm time; so when something pops it's only popping for your realm.

Maybe I mis-titled the question? What controls which realm one is on?
I ask, because my 24 walked into Gurubashi and grouped with two nice 90's, each from a different realm. We won the chest and the leader said, "hang on and we'll try for another." He then somehow phased us to a new Gurubashi and lo-and-behold a new chest. After winning that second chest, we dropped group and I was solo in yet a third Gurubashi with a third chest. The 90's were both gone and there wasn't anyone else there either. My 24 won three chests in about three minutes.
Now, I'm not looking to win multiple chests every three hours, although I'm not opposed to it. But, I don't like seeing twenty level 90's every three hours either. Is there a way to get to a relatively empty Gurubashi, like the old days? How did the 90's port us around like that? Right now, every Gurubashi is crowded. Too crowded for a 24 to ever have a chance at a chest, other than by the extreme luck of 90's who like helping lowbies.
Because of this experience, it seems like there are busy Gurubashi's and less-busy Gurubashi's. How does one get to the less-busy Gurubashi?
