Heroic LFR has always been out but it is called normal mode...

It is not that hard to find a guild that offers raids when you are available to join them. You may have to put in a little effort, but that is what raiding is about.

yeah, i am with the OP in that it is impossible for me to raid for real. But I don´t think there is room for a heroic LFR... what would it be, just higher numbers. They definitely could not add mechanisms or coordination to LFR. Just getting people to kill adds on Will or to not cause cruches on Galaron is asking too much.
I love the concept of LFR, but to ask for anything more than punching bags is asking too much from random players.

That makes no sense, the difficulty goes lfr -> normal -> heroic.
I would support adding a queue for normal though.

Seriously wish I could "Just raid with a guild". I cannot play at the same time on a regular basis...
Raiding is and always has been intended for people who can play at the same time on a regular basis. It sounds like it's just not for you. Be happy you have LFR... imagine how much less dull your playtime would be without it. :)

The problem with a heroic LFR would be threefold.
One, is that as the raids scale up in difficulty, a good part of that difficulty is designed around coordination and communication- not just more health and harder hitting mobs. There is a limit on how much you can scale that up for a group of people who won't be practicing together, and don't have a way to communicate besides typing. Also, getting to Ilevel 480 in LFR doesn't require all that much skill if you're not a tank. Most raids get pushed through by people who do have experience raiding, and end up carrying many people whose DPS or heals are about 15% of what they should be for their gear, who stand in stuff and die constantly. And most of those people don't know that they're not playing very well. All of those players would be graduating to Heroic LFR, and would meet the gear requirement, and would most likely insist on continuing to queue even if the heroic level was designed to be unforgiving for people who didn't know what they were doing, and to be unbeatable without every player doing their part. Under those circumstances, I can't imagine any group would ever progress, because the chances of getting 25 players who can perform at the higher level randomly (based on my observations of the typical groups in the current LFR) are pretty slim, so it it would for the most part just be a frustration for everyone.
Because of the above coordination issues, you'd end up with something that is either not doable at all for random groups, or something that is significantly easier than 10-mans, because no one needs to be all that coordinated, but awarding nearly the same gear as normals. There are only 6 Ievels between raidfinder and normal now, and to add another tier in the middle would make normal raiding completely obsolete in terms of gearing up. It wouldn't be fair to guilds that do put together a coordinated attempt every week to make their upgrades almost meaningless, because they want something to work for as well.
The only way to solve that would be to separate the item levels even further, so that every tier is a significant upgrade from the last, and scale up normal difficulty accordingly. The problem with that is that it effectively doubles the amount of time raiding guilds have to spend in LFR to gear for the current content of normal raids. There are a number of people who were not happy about having to have to gear through LFR before being able to go into normal raiding. I think a large number of them would be fairly upset about having to go do twice the amount of LFR for each raid tier before being able to move on to raiding as a guild.
I don't think that coordinated and challenging raiding lends itself to LFR- even this expacs heroics requires much less coordination than last expacs did, probably because of the amount of people using LFG to access them. And I don't think adding a tier between LFR and normal that DIDN'T require people to coordinate and communicate, and was just a gear check, would do anything for the game except create more busy-work for a lot of players. I sympathize that your life isn't giving you a lot of time to raid right now, but I don't think they could add another tier of LFR in a way that would be accomplishable by a random group, without making the game much more tedious for people who do raid normal and heroic modes.
Have you looked into OpenRaid? They might be an option for you with Battletags live now. You could look and see what raids were going on, and sign up for one that fit your schedule this week, and then a different one that fit your schedule next week.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##ElhonnaDS##DELIM##

I know on my server you can run a PUG MsV and down 6/6 anytime during the week, and if you get lucky, you can get a full clear in HoF.
Saying "I can't play at the same time every week." is just an excuse to me.*
*This is my personal opinion, and may not express the same thoughts as everyone in WoW or on Wowhead.

To be fair, Lonewolf, on my server my guild is the only alliance guild that has cleared normal MV AT ALL. The closest one behind us only has like 2-3 bosses down, and there are NEVER pugs in trade. Not every server has the population to support viable pugging of raids.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##ElhonnaDS##DELIM##
