So, I want to make a website with a reputation system just like wowhead's.
I'm looking for either a guidance or maybe someone from wowhead comunity, be it developers or just other users to help me out with this.
What I want is my own system though, I want to have full control over it, not use some sort of app on wordpress or something.
I am willing to pay someone to do it if necessary. Or just any light on the subject would help a lot.
I don't know if this violates the terms of use or not, but for what I've read, id doesn't.
Feel free to contact me by e-mail, caio@13online.com.br
And thank you very much.

I am a teacher and I want to make a system for my students.
It's meant to have homework, challenges and such, where participants will earn credits to trade for real benefits in class.
I know pretty well what I want.

So just do it.
Every time somebody does something that should get credit, update their records with the credit.
The thing to be careful about with wowhead style reputation is allowing other people to influence people's rep. This is done with Comments. Downvoting to lower rep can be malicious.
Cheers.

Except the feature of losing rep by receiving downvotes was removed, and the reputation page reflects that.
Insofar as using it for a teacher, it sounds like there won't be a way for students to remove "reputation" from their peers - and perhaps the name is the problem. It sounds more like a type of currency the students will be able to earn and then exchange.

Really? I wasn't aware of that.
Cheers.

Yeah, something just like that would work nicely.
I am thinking about studying this stuff myself and such, but I don't know what kind of system they use.

That's good.
