Spirits after max JC?

So here's, what I think, an odd question. I've maxed JC and know every MoP recipe. Easily done IMO. I now have 20 Spirits of Harmony and 115 motes. I realized the motes stack to 200 so I didn't bother making any more spirits, which only stack to 20. Question is, what the heck do I do with them now? Trade them in to the vendor for AH fodder? Will 5.2 maybe have a new use for them I haven't heard about yet? Will hell freeze over and they make them account bound?

I make the pets and sell them, and that's usually decent money. I also have used them for Iron-paw cooking tokens, golden lotus, etc.

Trade them for starlight ink for my scribe, or golden lotus to use for transmutations.

Get on your Alchemist alt or buddy, get some golden lotuses with the spirits, turn all those green quality blue, red, green, and yellow gems into blue quality and make JC mounts. Thats what I did because I have an abundance of Spirits ~100 now on my JC/Engineer and had a ton of green gems from prospecting.
Pets are good too and may be a better return because its 3 spirits iirc and mount is 10 spirits (trading for 2 lotus to make the blue gems). I got to disagree with trading them for cooking tokens though, those are easy enough to come by 1 a day 2 if you have Nomi, and you can grind out meat quicker (crab meat see my post on that) than motes.

Patch 5.2 brings a new JC recipe that allows you to make uncut primal diamonds using spirits and uncommon gems. It's a world drop recipe, so you'd need to go and kill stuff in Pandaria to get it, but it gives you something else to use spirits for.
It's unlikely to be the most cost effective way to make primals, if you already have access to an alchemist, but better than nothing, I suppose.
