"Because I know if we try to send him back he'll just sneak back here." Richard said and Loki nodded.

"I do have a plan..ish."
They rode south, towards Cauldros Isle.

"Well now, Rok'Har, I see the ritual went well," the darkfallen elf said from behind his elegant wrought metal desk. "Welcome to undeath. How are you feeling -- wait. Don't answer that, it was merely rhetorical. In fact, don't speak until I tell you to answer. I am having a monologue."
The elf stood up in a motion that looked like he sat down but played backwards. He paced over to a cabinet and procured two elegant, multi-faceted reservoir glasses and a bottle of pale green liquid. Pouring two, he continued: "It just so happens, that I have a need for fresh manpower. Hence my gratuity for your appearance."
At this point, the glasses were filled to the brim and just barely overflowing. The darkfallen corked the bottle and replaced it in the cabinet, took the glasses and strode to the table without spilling a single drop. Setting them down, he began talking once more while again taking his seat behind the desk.
"Here you see the benefits of a non-beating heart. Of course, there are downsides, such as not being able to enjoy this vile liquor (he downed the drink and swallowed before continuing) and the pleasures of the flesh. Too late for you to back out now, I suppose."
He shrugged and smirked at the undead orc. "Now, is there anything you would like to say before your...training...begins?"

"Agreed," Vladimer replied, looking out across the Vrykul village. "We'll split up and break open as many cages as we can. Meet up near the largest building in the village and we'll see if we can find their plans."

Lucien nodded. "Sounds good." He stated, glancing off to one side before sparing a look back at Vlad and taking off.

"If it is manpower you need, Just ask", the orc said. Rok'Har pulled out a strange device from his pockets.
"Hey, call up all the boys and tell them to head to northerend, these coordinates". He told the machine, "You now have a mercenary army at your disposal" He then informed the darkfallen

Eventually, a trading post tower rose into sight. "An outpost," Slate remarked. "We're just south of the logging camp, then."
"Probably," Tascoso agreed. "This will be..." He trailed off, frowning. "I smell beast in the air. But something... different." He stopped, staring at the tower. "This is... odd. Beast... but also intelligent? Come... let's investigate."

"
Excellent
."
The darkfallen touched a slender finger to an orb suspended in a metal stand on his desk, which lit up with a dim red glow. "We shall begin presently."
The door opened and a human death knight in rune-engraved saronite armor entered, followed by two acolytes in hooded robes. "Hold him," Thalasath ordered, and the death knight did so.
One of the cultists placed himself in front of and facing the orc, and the other stood behind the first. In complete silence the first one bowed its head and let his hood fall, while the other drew a ritual kris. The darkfallen nodded a command, and the one acolyte let his blade pierce the other from behind, straight through the heart and out of the chest. In an otherworldly moan the sacrificed cultist's spirit left his body through the mouth and entered the orc.
Without a word, the hooded cultist bowed quickly and left the room, soon followed by the death knight.
"You may go," the darkfallen said once the door was shut. "Do not let it get to your head."

"I second that notion," Ahriman nodded sagely, "In no small measure because I would hate to see Salena eat you with all your gears, Richard. Along with the two of us if she feels we had a hand in it. Or hungry, whichever."

"Don't tell them!" Loki spoke up. "If they knew I was here they'd drag me back to Goldshire." He said.
"I do plan on telling Salena. Just as soon as I found out how to tell her without her jumping to wild conclusions." Richard said.
"I told them they should have just written a letter." Sparkbolt said.

It was a good amount of time later, where Jack hung out in Valiance Keep's tavern, whittling away at drinks and insulting the barkeep with enough vocabulary that he didn't understand a word she said (though, like any good bartender, nodded and agreed with even the most eccentric patrons). On her way away from the tavern with a half-finished glass of wine, she was crashed into (spilling the drink everywhere) by a terrified messenger.
"Miss Liorahven!" he exclaimed.
She eyed him, "What?"
The messenger didn't attempt to lower his voice, in fact he was very nearly shouting in hysteria, "Your weapons! The first caravan was ambushed by Scourge!"
For perhaps the first time since she arrived in Northrend, Jack was thoroughly dumbstruck.

Vladimer sighed, slinging his bow over his shoulder and making his way in the opposite direction through the shadows cast by the overhanging roofs of the Vrykul's buildings.

Lucien Greyfang
Howling Fjord
Several long moments and open cages later, Lucien had his back against the large stone and wood wall of what was by far the largest building.
By Vyrkul standards, the tower was gigantic.

By this point in time Jack had her hands around the messenger's throat, very nearly throttling him as she shook him back and forth, "
I thought I made clear to have them guarded!
" she shouted, paying no heed to the attention the commotion was gaining.
"M-m'am!" he sputtered, choking for breath. "They did! Enough guards to hold back anything! Only one man got through--came back blathering and raving about Scourge slaughtering everyone!"
Jack let go of him, and he keeled over trying to regain the air in his lungs. She squeezed the air as if trying to strangle reality itself.

Vladimer bent down and wrested three arrows from the chest of a Vrykul, spending a moment to clean the heads of gore before throwing the projectiles back in his quiver. He looked over his shoulder to make sure the prisoner he had just rescued had moved on. She had, and so the assassin did as well.
Creeping carefully in the shadows, and avoiding the few Vrykul patrols that were still out and about while the battle in the woods raged on, Vlad made his way to the massive building that towered over the others and searched for Lucien nearby.
He found the man near one of the walls, "Well then, let's find the plans and get out of this bloody barbarian hole," Vlad said with a grunt.

Lucien nodded. "Come on." He waved, making his way around and checking the front of the building.
Two Vyrkul stood guard, massive axes held in hand and ready to slash anyone they spotted. Biting his lip, Lucien grabbed a good sized rock from the ground; chucking it outwards and into the distance; a clunck echoing out where it hit.
The Vyrkuls remained; not even seeming to notice.
"Welp, that's all I've got..." He mumbled.

"Try not to vanish, little dude," Ahriman spoke to Loki over his shoulder as he turned to hurry after Marcus.
Arriving to the peculiar and rather nostalgic - to him, at least - scene of Jack choking the thin air, the masked warrior immediately knelt next to the messenger, reaching to the other man's mind to try and soothe his pain and anxiety.

The messenger seemed to regain his composure with Ahriman's help... only to lose it again when Jack rounded on the man, paying attention to little else but yelling at the shorter man, "I need my men,
now!
" she exclaimed, jadedly, before storming off away from the forming crowd (some of whom were trying to get her attention to figure out what was going on, though she brushed them off) and towards the Keep.

Vladimer shook his head, reaching beneath his coat and removing two pins from a pouch and a vial. He quietly uncorked the vial (handing the cork to Lucien) and dipped each pin into the purplish liquid within, long enough to get a large glob on the end of each. The assassin then gave the vial to Lucien and made a motion with his hand to cork it, before moving around the side of the building far enough to throw the two pins at each of the Vrykul guards.
He pulled back around the corner, crossing his fingers despite the sounds of agitated grunts and footstomps that meant the giants were searching for the source of the pins.
A couple moments later... they both dropped like rocks.
"Strongest stuff I've got that works fast," Vladimer replied. "It won't last long though. Let's move."
He ducked around the corner to reach the entrance.
