Jacob intercepted the claws with one blade and swiped the other at Lucien's stomach.

Lucien Greyfang
Howling Fjord
Lucien grunted as the blade slashed along his stomach; slicing through his shirt and drawing blood where it broke the skin. Pressing against the other weapon with one handclaw, he pulled his other arm back; moving to uppercut and stab at the man.

Hannah, now no longer the target of anything (thankfully), pulled herself up to her feet, using the horse as a brace and her free hand. Blood coated the other, and she hissed under her breath as she took aim with her revolver at the wolf on top of Vlad (not wanting to interfere with the fight going on between Lucien and Jacob with her currently shaky aim).

Jacob took a quick step to the side, but still received a slash along his upper arm as the claw scraped across it. He grimaced as it started to bleed, but took the moment to hit the Lucien's elbow with the pommel of one cutlass.

"OW!" Lucien shouted, spinning and holding his elbow which now rang out in pain. "^&*!@#$!" He swore; spinning again and moving to kick Jacob.

The kick took Jacob by surprise, knocking back into a tree with an "oof" of escaped air. He sliced a cutlass in front of him to keep Lucien away while his breath came back.
The wolf on top of Vlad howled in agony as the shot took it just above the ear. It pressed down harder on Vlad momentarily, then staggered to the side, collapsing.

Vladimer wheezed after the wolf very nearly crushed his chest in. The assassin rolled over, very nearly coughing up a lung trying to breathe. He groaned, looking up and catching Hannah's eye, giving the woman a reassuring nod as he got up and rushed over to make sure she was okay.

"Ah, &*!@!" Lucien shouted as the cutlass sliced through his pantleg and cut into his lower leg. It wasn't enough to do serious damage, but it still hurt like a $%^&*.
The man stopped himself, using the opening to rush at Jacob in an attempt to kick him.

Jacob tried to dodge, but the kick still hit him in the side. He gasped, staggering backwards, and waved one hand. The Mark on his arm flared to sudden life, and a wave of black energy rippled from the pirate.
Above Lucien's head, a tree branch snapped, falling down on him.

Alynna Brighteyes
Howling Fjord
Alynna inhaled deeply, loving the fresh forest air in her lungs. It made the paladin feel refreshed, energized, new. She continued on her charger, following the road rather aimlessly as the wind blew her black ponytail in her face.
The blood elf was rather plain looking - even boring. She just didn't have a memorable face. Green eyes, medium length black hair, average facial features, average build. Even her armour was plain, just simple grey plate with rusty-gold highlights.
Alynna sighed, zoning out slightly. After several minutes, she caught the sounds of combat coming from somewhere nearby.
"Oh?" Alynna said to herself curiously, sitting up in the saddle to peer towards the sounds.

The tree branch fell, smashing into Lucien's head and bringing him to the ground with a shout.

The cliff side started to rumble ominously. A rock tumbled from above, heading straight for Vlad and Hannah.
Jacob scrambled to his feet and stepped back into the brush. As he did so, the vegetation grew larger, and the darkness grew deeper.

"Light-damned cheaters everywhere." Lucien grumbled, struggling to get up as blood pooled along the ground.

Vlad twisted his head to look at the tree branch falling on Lucien, he cursed, and was about to reach for his bow when Hannah elbowed him sharply, "Behind us!" she exclaimed. The assassin cursed even louder, with a more thorough string of obscenities, before he scrambled to get Hannah up onto her horse as the rock closed in. The horse was neighing, stomping, and otherwise panicking but not going anywhere (as it was merely freaking out in the face of death.)
"Get a move on, you bloody beast," he shouted, whipping the creature in the buttox in Lucien's direction, at least to get Hannah over to someone else instead of in the complete opposite direction. With that, Vladimer made a good sprint away from the rock--or it would have been a good spring it the rock's younger cousin hadn't been there to trip the assassin underfoot.
Soon enough he was pinned between the tumbling rock and a particularly thick tree trunk by a now broken leg. It was a bloody good morning.

As the rock came to rest, the word "Luck" could be clearly seen, scrawled onto it in what appeared to be blood. Underneath, a circle with a line through it was scrawled as well. When taken together, the words "No luck" could be determined.
And the word still glowed with a dark, unholy light.
Another branch snapped, rolling down the pathway towards them, but was diverted by the dead wolf. The branch crashed into the cliff wall and fell into the open air. As it fell, it snagged a brush near the edge, which tore away from the dirt and out into the open air.
As it fell, more and more chunks of earth started falling after them, followed by rocks, turning into a genuine landslide.

Lucien Greyfang
Howling Fjord
Lucien watched the spectacle for a moment, staring at the seemingly random chain of events that was about to kill them.
"OH COME O-" He was cut off as the horse smacked into him; knocking the rogue to the ground again.

Hannah looked down at Lucien, "Oh for the love of--" she exclaimed, before cutting herself off and extending her free hand, "get on, you woolheaded lummox, or we're all going to die!"
She looked around wildly after saying that for Vladimer, only to spot the assassin in his predicament.
Vlad was trying to pry himself free, but the fact his leg basically refused to move was not helping the situation any. Noting the combination of events leading to the landslide, he cursed.
"Well, today is
not
a bloody good day to die," he looked upwards, catching sight of the words written on the rock. He cursed, pounding his fist against the bloody words in annoyance.

Lucien picked himself up, grumbling as the roar of the landslide echoed outwards.
This just wasn't their day in the slightest.
"I'll get Vlad, you get going!" He told Hannah, rushing to pick up his bike. "NOW! MOVE!"

Jacob exited a copse of trees some fifteen feet above them, watching the chaos. "Shame," he muttered. "If they had just believed, this could have been avoided." However, his moment was ruined by a sudden surge of dizziness, causing him back into a tree and slide down the smooth bark.
He sat, propped up against the tree, and watched.

"You both are freakin' jerks!" Hannah shouted over her shoulder at Lucien, and most likely Vlad if he could have heard, before heeling her horse as far away from the landslide as possible. While she would have rather helped out, she really did want to survive.
