"Of course, these won't last forever," Jack admitted, removing the arcane magazine from the gun. "Eventually they'll expire--"
To enforce the point, she reached into her coat pocket and removed another magazine. However this one was blackened on the inside.
"Like any firearm, you'll have to reload eventually. Unfortunately, we're not made of these magazines either. I brought as many as I could, but you'll have to do with what's here until the Big Cheese back home gives us the go to keep making more."
She put the large firearm down and reached back into the crate she had pulled it out of, removing a smaller gun, more like a revolver, and fishing around in a different box for a magazine that would fix it.
"These fire faster than the large ones, at the expense of the shots being smaller," Jack explained while loading up the magazine. In demonstration she took a firing stance again and fired three blasts at a different dummy. Parts of the target were burned away by the chaotic magic, in a less radius than the larger's blast.

"They don't tire so save your arrows," Aaron suggested. "Unless you are confident enough you can hit an eye on a moving target from horseback."
He meanwhile had decided on a plan of action, which he now announced to the rest: "We separate them, then strike hard! Wait for my command!"

"See with your hands, you mean?" Ahriman chuckled. He watched Marcus's purposeful stride for a couple seconds before calling out, "Dude. You're the inquisitor here, sure, but that miss Jack is heavily armed. Right now. Please tell me you'll at least try to ask nicely first!"

"I gotta admit, I'll really have to find something new to do if these things become mass-produced," Ahriman nodded. He paused, rocking back and forth on his feet, then spoke with an audible smirk, "Wanna bet how long it takes before someone like the Cult of the Damned or the Twilight's Hammer or any of the doomsday loonies get their hands on these babies?"

Jack shot a quick look at the large crowd that had formed and spared herself a self-satisfied grin, before placing the revolver down and turning to face the generals, "Those are the firearms, seemingly simple in execution, but I'll teach you the finer details of how to calibrate them if you choose to use them. Anyone here have a sword on hand?"
She held out her hands and gave the crowd a raised eyebrow, until one of the armored captains stepped forward and drew his sword from its scabbard at his waist, offering her the hilt. Jack took it, holding up a finger for the man to wait.
"This is a regular sword. Simple, boring, it cuts things, cuts them well if the person swinging it knows how to use it," she turned and slashed the dummy nearest to her, throw a dent into the armor. She handed it back to the guard, sifting through the rest of her crates and removed a sword from one of the longer boxes pulled out from the bottom.
It appeared to be a normal sword, though the crossguard was wider and the hilt had an empty space on the bottom. Jack took out one of the magazines and slipped it into where the pommel would have rested. She thumbed a switch on the hilt, holding the blade away from her, and bursts of arcane shot out across the weapon's edge before stopping.
"We've been unable, for now, to achieve a permanent field by technological means that doesn't drain the arcane batteries in less time it would take to actually hit something," Jack grimaced, loathing to admit the failure. "However, these short bursts of energy are still dangerous, and allow for sustained use of the magazine."
In demonstration, Jack turned on the target dummy from before. As she swung the blade at the target, she flipped the switch, causing the magic to spark outwards. When the sword connected, the arcane lashed across the target, scoring burning marks across the armor.

"Do you think she knows?" Ahriman asked, his hand reflexively slipping onto the curved hilt of a straight-edged sword hanging at his waist when the demonstration moved onto the melee weapons.
"We should warn her, I suppose. And now I really want to see those swords, too."

Jack lowered the blade, turning back to the crowd, "And that's what I have for you. We don't have a lot of them, and we won't be supplying your entire army anytime soon, but you ship these out to where they're needed most and you might just turn the tide of a losing battle. Of course, whether you'll get any more will depend on whether or not you'll use them."
She went to put the sword away, briefly glancing at the generals and captains, as a tide of conversation flooded across the crowd. The man in the suit leaned over and whispered something in Arlos' ear. The Commander straightened, "We'll take them, and anything else you can make us, and we'll inform Stormwind High Command of the decision immediately."
Jack grinned, "Then you have yourselves a deal."
The coins were already clicking in her head.

"We probably should, as I highly doubt that she knows," Marcus replied. "Let's wait until we can catch her alone, though. I'd rather that this didn't spread."

"Funny thing, the knife-ear has been bothering the arms dealer back in the inn. Am I reading too much into this?"

"I'd smile at you innocently, but I can't be bothered to take the mask off," Ahriman shrugged.

"Has this entire demonstration fallen on flat ears?" Jack asked with large amount of annoyance. "Not everyone has access to a mage who can enchant
anything
for them on whim, and having an arcanist waste reagents and energy on enchanting blades--reagents and energy that could be used on the Scourge--seems foolish when technology can do the same thing."
The woman eyed Alessora with contempt.

Alessora smiled in reply to the masked warrior, then she answered Jack. "I just can't see a dual-wielder or shield user loading the wepons quick enought in combat. Thus enchanted blades are superior in such senarios."

"Make that flat knife-shaped ears!" Ahriman stated, giving Jack an air high-five.
"Missy. Do you have any idea how much work it takes to enchant one piece of weaponry? Do you not realize that each of them is an individual work of art on its own?"

"Woman, if you think you need to load the weapon in the middle of combat you have absolutely no proper experience or idea how this works. Magazine goes in the hilt before you fight, then you use it until it burns out. It can be used as a regular sword once it does, and hopefully you won't be in combat for a day straight. If you are, you're probably dead anyway, and an enchanted blade won't help fix that."
With the revelation the weapons were going to be used by the army, and the fact the demonstration was obviously over, some of the crowd was dispersing. The top officials, Arlos and his right hand among others, had already left to go straighten out the paperwork. Those that remained were listening in on the heating argument.
