"Mhm," Kalra smirked lightly, a smirk that quickly retreated, "Have you ever heard of someone named Sadratta?"

Grabbing an end of the sheet, Mishka tore it away with a single motion.
What lay beneath was a short, snub nosed fighter. A single seated cockpit sat solidly, molding into the curve of the ship and main engine with four smaller control thrusters spread about for maneuvering. It was a vehicle designed for the vacuum of space, disparaging long wings and air sleek design, its entire body conforming about the single engine projecting out the back, with short stubby wings protruding from the sides. It could doubtless fly in an atmosphere, but the aircraft was designed to move fast and take a punch while showing as little substance for returning attacks. A pair of cannons sat snugly within the chassis on the sides near the cockpit, heavy caliber though it neglected any other weapons. In contrast to the vessel which housed it, this ship was new and showed it in the fresh black paint that fairly gleamed.
"Single passenger short range interceptor," Mishka intoned. "Meant to be deployed from a battlecruiser." She gave the avian a pointed look. "It doesn't have an arcane engine capable of between system flights."

"I would expect a' much..." Perk replied, squawking in an attempt to whistle at the sight.
Slowly, the pirate made a round of the small ship, eying it from every angle.

The Kig'Yar grinned; a terrifying gesture for his elongated jaw. " 'ure, I can 'ly it..." He stated, planted a hand against the cold steel of the vessel.

Kalra's attention danced upon the cockpit as she checked readings. She muttered under her breath then stood up, "Hold on. I'll be right back."
Immediately she moved to the back of the ship and flipped open a panel.

Mishka nodded. "Good." With a wave of her hand she moved back towards the ladder. "When we do need you to fly, I'll give you the passcode to unlock it. Until then," she grabbed the bottom rung of the ladder and flicked the switch, casting the chamber into darkness once more. Her red eye glowed balefully in the shadows. "Just keep in mind what I said." Without anohter word she shimmied up the ladder and to the entrance hatch.

Character
: Kohaku Tenshou "Ten" Boreil
Location
: Leyline Network
Ten leaned back, his hands drifting across the console as he navigated the leylines. A holo of the map to Thule, projected by his datapad, sat nearby, which he occasionally glanced at to make sure they were on the right track. The
Masallian Steed
took a gentle turn into a different leyline. The albino snorted. This had to get more difficult at some point.
Character
: Piper "Pyre" Reeves, Jasper "Fox" Fern
Location
: Draenor, Shard #674
Jasper sat across from Piper, his sniper rifle braced against his knees as he looked out the grimy window of the diminutive shuttle. The Draenor skyline was an interesting thing--the terraced Shards were a network of uneven bridges and building husks overshadowed by luxurious, shining scrapers. Of the floating platforms, the largest were the best kept, often orbited by multiple starships and gleaming with thousands of lights. The smaller ones were run down, threatening to drift away into the Great Dark Beyond.
Draenor was dangerous. Even though the brightest Shards could rival Azeroth in impressiveness and seeming security, there was always a hanging knife. A shopkeeper had a mercenary ready to rob you blind; the ambassador already had a man with a scope trained on your back. Jasper took some comfort in knowing that the threats were obvious, instead of buried behind thousands of political machinations and bureaucratic loopholes. Gangsters he could outgun and bounty hunters he could outwit. Out-talking a politician took a miracle.
In front of him, Piper had removed a dormant detonator from her jacket and was lazily pressing and releasing the trigger button. She was a good talker, better than him, but she didn't like crowds. He loved them, easy to hide in.
"We'll drop off on the closest shard over," Piper muttered under her breath. The walls of the shuttle were thin and talking any louder risked allowing the pilot to hear them. Jasper doubted the troll would do anything, but it was better to be safe than sorry. "See if we can get any help and scout out what we'll be facing. We don't have much time, but we have time, and I want to be ready."
"I know," Jasper replied, pulling his eyes away from the window.
She pressed the trigger in and kept it held down, "Is this going to be worth it?"
"Do you think Ten would risk the
Nagito
getting impounded on a fool's errand?" he answered with another question, idly kicking a foot against the floor of the transport.
Piper snorted, "You have a point. Still seems ridiculous--boss working for a Templar to piece together some important whatever, all of us scattered across the galaxy to get it done..."
"We'll finish the job. Always do."
She didn't reply, but he noticed the small smile that spread across her face as she released the detonator with a sharp
click.
The shuttle rattled and descended abruptly, prompting Piper to stow the trigger away and grab on to the nearest handhold hanging from the ceiling. Jasper followed her lead, glancing back at the window to watch as the ground of a decrepit landing pad came closer.
They tipped the shuttle driver from their personal funds, who gave them a nod of thanks before departing. If he had heard any of their conversations aboard the transport, he was a good mask at concealing it. Piper shivered as she looked out across the Shard, a nearly derelict thing. The buildings were all half finished or ravaged, yet it still looked like a population center of some sort. Figures darted in and out of the shadows, lights buzzed in windows, and there was the noise of life.
"Let's get started," Piper said, heading off the landing pad and towards the heart of the small Shard to find a good vantage point.

"Whee!" Jack squealed as the ship banked to the side before righting again. "You know what would be even more fun?" he asked the silent Templar. "Huh? Do you? If we turned the anti grav off!" With a practiced motion the Templar snagged the youth by the collar as he tried to rush past.
"Per-ha-ps-a-nother-time," he dictated, dropping Jack into a seat beside him.
"Aww..."

"Fuses," Kal stated, seating herself on the floor and kicking her hooves back and forth in the vent, "It's got some bad wiring I'm going to have to replace later, it's making them burn hotter than they should, but it's fine. I've got more."
