hi,
ive recently become hit capped (while already over crit cap) and i find myself wondering what stat to work on next.... i would assume expertise but i cant seem to find much of that on gear i can obtain...
(tank for guild so i get low priority on dps items)
145 hit rating ( yes 3 pts over cap)
42+ crit i can get up to 45 or 46% raid buffed.
the only expertise i have at the moment is from the trinket in MgT.
comments?

yup. expertise would be a pretty decent way to go but there's very few pieces of armor that offer it. if ur dodge is doing well. maybe if u link ur armory we could better help u out with what piece of gear to upgrade/replace. but if nothing else, more stam and armor always helps ;-)

wait a sec... there is a crit cap?
yes. 40% or so is considered the "cap" if you go to wowwiki and look up crit youll find that....
but getting hit cap and raising your expertise can raise the crit cap higher.

one,

is what i meant not the natural fury one lol i always mix up the names, dont know why *shrug*
two, bosses CAN dodge from behind (even though players can't)
once you are at the crit cap (around 40%) agi really isnt the best for you. agi is uber for you till then.
so expertise, (lowering the enemies chance to dodge or parry) will actually help. (raising the crit cap)
i was merely seeing if anyone else knew gear (good for dps) that would suffice. so far what ive been linked isnt that great, (except for gear i wont have a shot at).

oh and if you checked my sig on the bottom of my posts, BOTH my wow armory link and my imba profile are listed.... tankwise im not that much in need of upgrade.

expertise is fairly useless for feral dps (cat) in raids. You should ALWAYS be behind the target, which means he wont be able to parry or dodge your attacks to begin with.
Anything that isn't a player can dodge from behind.
I like the shard of contempt. I find that it gives more than enough expertise and only one or two abilities throughout a boss fight will be dodged.

i will try and find it later, off to work for now...
basically around 40% i read on wowwikki somewhere that it starts to push hit off the table unless you have expertise to push off dodge and hit to push off miss.

taken from wowwiki at
http://www.wowwiki.com/Crit
. Also, ratings have caps. To hit can only be used to counter the base chance to miss (5% for one-hand users without any off-hand weapon, 9% for two-handers and 24% for dualwielders), whereas the crit chance cannot become higher than the hit chance. If a dualwielder attacks a target with a high chance to dodge or parry the attacker can lose crit chance because the attack table is full.
