Character:
Jonathon Jackson, Tell, Kaufor D. Crassus
Location:
Takaneko City, East Dock
Crassus raised his fist again, rings bloodied from where they'd cut her face. "Just hope ya face wasn't yer money maker!"
"Aaaaaaaaaaah!"
"Eh?" Crassus looked to the side, just in time to see Tell barreling across the distance on his skates. The two collided, Crassus with Tell thrown bodily from atop Jayjay by the impact.
Character:
John Tenniel
Location:
Takaneko City - Otherworld
The sky turned in its slow circle, as if caught in a reversed cyclone. The ruined buildings opened up upon decaying streets, everything tinted in a monochrome scale as though the colour had been sucked out by the pit in the sky. Nothing from this world moved. Nothing to even give the implication of life. There wasn't even a breeze.
The quick pitter patter of frantic feet disturbed the quietude of the city. Fine shoes with a silver buckle, an elderly, somewhat portly man puffing down the street in his checkered waist coat. His eyes were quite wide, his hair frizzled and a small cane held in one hand topped with a silver rabbit's head. His drooping mustache billowed behind him like two large flags.
"Oh dear! Oh dear!" He hastily checked his wris@#$%ch. Glancing, he watched as something like a shadow darted into a gaping doorway. "Ah, yes. In here!" He turned and as he entered the building, it was curious to say he ran along exactly where the shadow had been, and as for shadows he in fact had none to speak of.

Akira Ryakudatsu
Location:
Takaneko City, Professor's House
Akira, as unexperianced with ice as he was found it difficult to move on the frozen surface with any speed, but in the end he made it to the man Erin attacked and moved to punch said nameless man in the face with a fist of steel.

The wasteland was ephemeral. Oppressive hues of fire bled out abruptly, leaving nothing but a monochrome canvas of twisted steel. The dilapidated frames reached out, husks bent and broken towards the sudden vortex in the sky. Something from where there had previously been nothing. A realm of deadly evanescence, ever changing to ensnare those within.
Silence fell upon the colorless world, a shroud pierced soon enough by panicked footfalls resounding louder than a scream. The rest of the world soon wakened in turn. Moans pitching through the streets, echoing off the skeletal buildings. Walls shifted like gaping maws, leering soullessly.
Quietly, a figure crept beneath the glares of beings, following the fleeing man. The hood of a tattered half-cloak shrouded their head, their face completely obscured by the porcelain visage of an oriental fox. Their movements were swift and silent, aside from the air beating against the layers of clothing that bound their form. A dusty jacket beneath their cloak, tight gloves covering their hands, bound shoes muffling their footfalls. They ghosted after the old man, making sure to check their flank frequently as they did so.

John stood in the ante room, quivering in anticipation. He brightened moments before the fox faced figure arrived through the door. "Ah! There you are. Yes, yes. Right on time. Always on time! We have a schedule. Must keep it," he exclaimed. His shadow left him darted through the door deeper into the house. "Come! Come! We hurry here. Yes!" He at once dove after his shadow and deeper inside.

The character paused, if ever so briefly, out of some sort of surprise or perhaps bewilderment, before continuing forward after the man.

John led the way into the parlour of the once home. Of western construction, perhaps once. Now everything in the room seemed to have slumped as if in some terrible weight. The chairs and couches squatted near the floor, many bent where they were not broken entirely. As always the grey monochrome suffused here too along with a hefty coating of dust. Some pictures hung on the wall had been defaces by time or, in one case, a knife.
In here, John began to rush about the room seemingly aimlessly. It looked like he chased his own shadow, following the shady figure as it rushed about the room moments before he himself mimicked the exact actions in perfect synchronicity. Every now and then he would check his watch, as his shadow had done just before.
"Yes, yes yes. Timing. That's all its been. Timing is everything. Have you heard that? You must have. We can't be late! Can't be. If we know what's going to happen we must most assuredly do it or else, disaster! Disaster! See?" He suddenly stopped and pulled free a silver pocket watch. "Four minutes fast! Exactly! And, this one?" He pulled forth another. "Exactly on time! And this one? Well...this one's broken. But not the point!" he exclaimed, tossing the broken watch over a shoulder.

The figure in the fox mask said not a word, merely bending down to pick up the broken watch as it fell to the floor. They examined it silently, before tilting their head up to watch the man scurry about, with what seemed to be no point.

"Yes, yes, timing. It's all about timing and DO NOT STAND THERE!" He suddenly rushed forward and pulled the man in the fox mask away from their spot.

As they had not done much prior, it may have come as a surprise when the character's fist attempted to connect with the man's stomach the moment he attempted to grab the figure in the fox mask. Regardless of whether they actually managed to land the attack, they swiftly removed themself from his grasp.

: Asher Hansen, Ski-mask Feller, De Lady, Wind Dude
Location
: Takeneko City, Professor's House
The man jumped into the air, hauling the professor with him, and propelled himself backward with another gust of wind. As he did so, a faint buzzing noise filled the air as the shell of the bullet he had previously fired flew at Erin's back.
A car screeched up to the curb and he tossed the professor inside, moving to jump in himself.
The ski-mask guy punched at Saito's face and began reaching into a shoulder holster for his gun.
The woman turned and threw her hands aside, causing wooden spikes to erupt from the floor in all directions, causing enough confusion to allow her to run up the stairs and out the door.
Asher tried to push himself to his feet, but found his vision failing. He noticed that the flow of blood had increased, now falling from his nose as well as ears. "Well... crap..."

John Tenniel

Takaneko City - Otherworld
John had already moved aside just enough to avoid the blow, but such could be easily overlooked due to what immediately followed. The space which the fox masked figure had occupied but a moment before suddenly vanished, flattened along with that side of the building, wall and furniture beneath an immense hand. The limb was vaguely black and seemed to shake as if its reality was ill defined, the thunderous sound of its impact strangely muffled and hollowed in that dead world as the corpse of the building was ravaged. A gap now existed in that half of the building, and as the dust cleared the owner of that arm could be seen. A vaguely humanoid apparition, the outline of its body seemed to be filled with shaking red scribbles on black. All save two perfectly round eyes that glowed a yellow light, staring owlishly from a bulbous head.
The creature made a sound. A long, mournful cry like a huge animal's moan. A second sound soon followed, a voice that seemed to eclipse everything around it like a hammer blow upon the world.
"
JOHN TENNIEL. YOU CANNOT ESCAPE MY WRATH IN HERE, JUST AS YOU COULD NOT THERE. KNOW THAT YOU HAVE BEEN FOUND, AND THAT YOU WILL DIE. THIS IS MY WILL. THIS, I COMMAND!
"
Something could be seen on the head of the monster. A humanoid figure, hard to see well due to a thick cloak they wore. The leviathan made another mournful cry like a fog horn lost in mist and began to raise its hand ponderously.

: Kazuhiko Saito
Location

There was an audible crack as Saito's head snapped to the side from the force of the punch, the room once again spinning. His head pounded, music filling one of his ears and the other taking in the full cacophony of chaos happening around him. Saito groped for his missing earbud, but his black splattered vision couldn't make it out against the frosted ground. He groaned, attempting to slam the ski mask man's head against the floor with another blow of force.

"Leave," they stated, unflinching before the beast.

The monster raised its hand fully and looked down to the man in the waistcoat. John merely smiled, tossed his cane up slightly and caught it by the neck once more. He produced his watch and glanced at it once. "My shadow," he mentioned lightly, "is gone." The hand descended, and the moment before it hit the portly man vanished.

The giant raised its hand once more, nothing left behind in the crater of splintered wood and cracked cement. "
DISAPPOINTING
," quoth the figure atop the monster. He made a gesture of command and the creature rose to its full height once more, slightly hunched forward as though burdened by its own immensity. The figure looked down at the city beneath, hood turning and stopping when it found the fox masked man. "
AND WHO ARE YOU? YOU MAY SPEAK.

The hooded figure cocked a head. "
I SEE YOU ARE MUTE. HOW UNFORTUNATE! THEY MAKE DEVICES TO HELP WITH THAT. I SUGGEST THE PURCHASING OF ONE.
" He paused abruptly and raised his hand, observing how his fingers seemed to be running like wet paint caught in a breeze.

THEN IT IS YOU WHO ARE THE FOOL. MONSTER!
" The demon perked its head up slightly as the man atop it began to vanish. "
BY MY WILL, WHEN I HAVE LEFT, YOU SHALL CRUSH THIS ONE. OBEY THE WILL OF YOUR KING!
"
With his final words echoing in the air the man vanished. When he was gone, the creature turned to the masked figure. It raised its hand and brought it down towards them open palmed.
