Clover shifted for a moment, uneasily taking her own hand by the wrist, "The odd abilities or the, ah, death?" she nervously questioned.

Leopold made a short bow at the waist, "Leopold Harrison, ma'am," he introduced as he came back up, watching her with a similar amount of suspicion, though his tone managed to be both respectful and polite. "We were witness to your washing upon the shore, and wished to make sure you were all right."

"A nightmare, a monster, a wasteland," they muttered. "It's real enough."
Shifting, the figure in the mask managed to push themselves to their feet, wobbling unsteadily for a moment before seeming to regain their balance.

Sighing, the starlet hesitantly continued, "My brother and I were murdered during a robbery of our home. Ah, dear Leo tried to take the bullet for me, but it went right through him ..." she bit her lower lip. "He died first, during the night. I bled out until morning," Clover managed, her following smile quite obviously forced.
"As for what I can do," she said, somewhat thoughtfully. Looking around the room, she eventually flicked a finger and nodded, before vanishing from sight.

Azuka nodded, “I am fine, though a tad bruised and lost. What is this place?” Her eyes glanced out over toward the city skyline. She could not place a strange feeling that longed to walk down the city’s streets.

Crassus jumped at so sudden a vanishing. He whirled about, fur coat whipping the fog around his feet into soft whirls.
Slash clapped her hands in delight. "Oh kewl!"

"Takaneko City," he replied, tipping his head towards the city. Leopold sighed for a moment, observing the metropolis briefly before looking back at the woman. "If you are unaware of where you are, it might be best to rest before you go any farther. I can take you back to where I came from, if you would like."

"Yes," the replied, their mask turning towards Akane and seeming to size her up from the darkness beneath. "What brought you here?" they asked.

Clover reappeared about a half minute later, coughing daintily into her hand, before looking back up, with a smile and a nod, "I can do some more, but it requires sunlight. This is the most I can seem to do with artificial light."

"Works for me," Saito muttered under his breath, finally letting out a shaky exhale and rolling his shoulders. Looking around, he couldn't spot anybody he wasn't absolutely certain actually existed. As such, he turned around and faced the group again, he's pale, sunken expression once again masked by a cocky sureness. "Anybody drive?"

The character flexed their fingers beneath their gloves as she spoke, finally moving to look at her as she finished with only a moment of contemplation, "Wanton exercise of your abilities, or someone attempted to murder you in your sleep," they summed up, carefully making their way to a wall in the room. There were no windows, only a small hole that seemed useless. Regardless, the masked figure bent down as they spoke, peering through it.

Slash pressed two fists to her brow. She took them away, fluttering her fingers and making an exploding sound.

Tell held on until the last moment, and then reluctantly let go. Jonathon watched her rise, his heavy face blank and eyes dull as they followed her movements.
"The room is ours. For the night," he mentioned.
"Yeah! Lundow and I got it. But I can keep it for us for as long as we want. I just need to touch their computer!" Tell exclaimed brightly.

"Oh sure. It's nothing really. Okay, no, i lied, it's utterly badass. Okay, so, like...have you ever gone to like, a live concert? And you go there and everyone's like," Slash leaned out with her hand held high, "woooooaaaaaah. And then you go in there and you're with them and you see the stage and you're like woooooaaaaah! And then the music starts and everything's like," Slash here began to nod her head, "nt nts nts nts, and then you're going with it and you're like woaaaaaaaaah!" Slash snapped her fingers, beginning to sway side to side. Curiously, as she did so, the air in the room seemed to grow heavier. "And then like everyone's doing it and it's all like yeaaaaaah! And then the music changes and you're like yaaaaaaaa!" Slash moved in quick, sudden steps from side to side. She kicked up the fog, causing it to swirl, thicken, and shape in the air before falling flat. "And then, it's all over." She stopped moving. "And it's like, let's buy this $%^&ty overprice t-shirt. And everyon's like yeaaaah! And then a week later you look at that t-shirt and are all like noooooo!" Slash nodded, completely satisfied. "Yeah. 'S like that."

"Pthbth. Manipulation makes it sound so lame. Crassus?" She turned to the boy. "Does that not sound lame. So lame. It's Soul Music!" she cried, rounding on Clover once more. "Maaan. That's what it is girl. The ability to move people with the tunes. These tunes, those tunes, this tune. Instruments. Music is poetry. Rap? Poetry. ^&*!ty poetry but poetry. Mmm! So awesome."

"If it isn't, I will certainly arrange to have the expense covered, at no cost to yourself. I can't imagine what led you to this predicament, but I would reason it was not a positive experience," Leopold stated. Keeping up his vigilant, yet polite, demeanor, he began retracing his strides up the beach and towards the docks, making sure that the woman was following him as he did so.
"What's your name, if I may ask?" the blonde Britishman questioned.
