"And as far as I can tell, your hair is also red," Saito remarked offhandedly, "so we're both correct."
He then pointed at Asher, "He's also right. I was a witness. Didn't kill him though, swear to something," Saito quickly amended, looking around the occupants of the apartment as if to shoot down anybody who would question his statement.

Janet nodded. Reaching a hand into her pocket, she draw out several bullets; tossing them into the air.
The metal casings fell, suddenly halting before they hit the ground, suspended in the air. Spinning around her, the rose; re-collecting in her hand. "I control bullets. And rockets, and other things." She grinned.

Eventually he found a small bottle filled with a light blue translucent liquid and surreptitiously tipped a bit of it into his drink, then took a drink. He set the can down and asked "What's your story?"

"You sure you're okay, mate?" came a voice from the crowd. A man, who looked in his early twenties, with curly red hair contained under a driving cap, stepped forward. He wore a black button down, tie-less, with the sleeves rolled halfway up. Several tattoos could be seen on his arms, the most notable of which being what looked like an Irish flag.
"I mean, that was a nasty fall, innit? You should probably get checked out, both of ya."

Mei was already fishing through the pockets of her hoodie, though came up empty, and instead focused on rifling through her backpack, "I'm fine! Honest!" she beamed, before pulling out a phone in a pink and blue plastic casing nestled between her many spray paint cans.

"I'm certain," Oscar declined, taking the phone from Mei. He furrowed his brows as he navigated the unfamiliar interface until he found the messaging service. Mumbling quietly under his breath while typing, he was soon enough finished with the text and pressed the send button. He then handed it back with an apologetic smile.

Mei took back the phone with a knowing nod, stowing it back in her bag before looking around and blinking. The teen then looked down the sidewalk and suddenly dropped her backpack, chasing after a lonesome skateboard rolling away, "Noooo! Come back!" she exclaimed.

Saito likely would have spit out his drink if he had any of it left to spit out. Instead, the teen sputtered and stared at Akira, "

Holy--" he exhaled slowly, running a hand through his hair. "Okay. So three people in this room have died, two of them have abilities that spit in the face of common sense..."
"What about you?" he waved an arm at Cecil, as if grasping for something more normal to drag the cluster of people in the apartment back down to earth.

Cecil abruptly started forward. "I ah, yes. I'm...Cecil. I...something similar had happened to...to me. Yes. However, I should think that...That is, perhaps I...this all rather a...a lot. I only arrived today. On a ship, you see, and was thinking of taking a hotel. But..." He suddenly grew quiet. His hands shook as he dug into his pocket and drew out a wallet. He opened it and fumbled out a card. Though he made to pass it to Saito, his hand shook so much he dropped it on the boy. He reached to pick it up, reconsidered, and suddenly shook his head. "I think that, maybe...If you, yes. I'm a doctor. Or, was. I can perhaps help, in that. Something of the..." He stopped talking and again withdrew to the window.
