"Sunwell?" The arakkoa tilted his head.
"A well of power from our homeland." Velnessia replied.
"More than power, a beacon of light and hope." Kael'threa added.
"Yea, that too."

Velnessia steped forwards and picked up a shard. In her hand it turned to dust that spread in the wind. "Yes... That was quite the euphoria." She replied. "Like a sun now reside in my body."

The warlock pondered for a moment, then looked over at her, "We should gather these. Imagine, if we could simply draw the power of the sun out of the air..."

Shadowmoon Valley
Kisaeva flipped the Saber Crescent Fish over her head. The predator seethed, thrashed, and bucked angrily then shuddered to a stop as the draenei's hoof met it in the air and crushed its skull. The fish rolled off her thigh and onto the river bank. Then there was quiet. Her face changed at no point, she lived in calm. The world seemed to pass her by as she meditated.
Time passed. Once again the fish came free of the waters. The process repeated and it joined the pile of fish beside the shore, many Crescent Fish and Blind Lake Sturgeon, with the occasional Sea Scorpion and one Skulker. This was not a new experience. Many memories came back to her, long before the war, long before the horde, and the troubles. Memories of happy times and dead friends.
She flung another fish ashore. There was a puppy gnawing on her catch, clearly one of the local wolves of Shadowmoon. She allowed it one. With a sigh, she continued. Those memories were only that. Their outcome made her sad. She could not deny that. Denying it would entrap disharmonious elements in her spirit. She did not want that danger on herself or others. In the end she was mortal being.
The puppy yelped as it suddenly felt a stinging on it's nose. Recoiling in fear, it scampered off into the brush. Kisaeva shook her head. How could she instruct it that it could not take what was there if it could not understand her, or she it? When she tried to push the fish away it ignored her, until she struck. She felt a sting of guilt. Why was violence her first answer? That was not the way to peace.
Fish came free of the waters once again. She sensed more by her again. The whole pack of wolves were now at her fish eating. This time she spoke, instructing them one. The wolves stared at her, then continued to feed. She could not help but feel like a fool. Separating her humiliation from the need to act, she struck the lead, largest wolf on the snout. The mother yelped, then snarled. The rest of the pack bristled and growled, staring at the Draenie fisher woman. Wordless speech passed between them as they decided to attack or not. Then the mother pounced. Switching from her fishing pole to her staff instantly, Kisaeva swatted the wolf into the ground. It's whimpers were blotted out by the roar of another three that sprung. The monk flung one wolf into the other with a swing of her staff, and dipped with the swing to let the third pass over her and into the water. The others paused for a moment shocked at the sudden defeat of their family, and The monk pressed the advantage. She swept the paws underneath one and tapped it on head, then smacked another on the snout hard enough to send it spinning around. Then finally they turned tail.
Kisaeva frowned, dissatisfied. Once again she turned to violence. This was by no means due to laxity, rather a lack of understanding. She didn't know which concerned her more. More fish came free. Memories returned to her once again, thoughts of world she found herself in once again. It had gone so wrong, so quickly. She didn't understand what had happened and why it had gone so badly. Were the Draenei meant to bring suffering and death as they fled? That could not be so.
A faint nibble shook her lure, and one memory in particular returned to her. Beneath the surface of the pond swam a tremendous Blind Lake Skullker. Despite her many years fishing it, she never succeeded in luring it from the surface. But now was not the time. Still she thought farther. The Draenei never wanted war, yet they suffered it nonetheless. What could they have done to avoid it?
A crunch sounded from behind her. This time when she turned there was an ogre gnawing at her fish. He stared, dumbstruck. What was she to do? She did not want to harm the creature. The epiphany struck her, and she welcomed the familiar feeling of revelation. What was her fishing doing, to go to the village for? It would certainly be eaten, but the Draenei had never lacked for food. Yet here were these creatures, hungry, and she restrained their rations so they might all be fed equally. But equality was not what was needed, and equality was not perfect. Should she deny the mortal being desperate enough to steal from her.
"Do not eat that raw. You will become sick," Kisaeva instructed. She set her rod down and passed the ogre, who continued to stare. Within a few moments she had gathered wood and tinder and with a focused crackle of chi, sparked a small flame. Quickly, she seared a fish on one of the sticks and offered it to the ogre. He, still staring, suspiciously took it and crunched down on the second fish. That look alone taught her what she needed to learn. The Draenei came to Draenor to seek peace. They found it, and hounded to themselves. When the Ogres, the Orcs, the Saberon and Arrakoa boiled to strife under their own desperation and hatred, the Draenei were content with their peace. They were complacent, and did not seek to move past their comforts to ease the pain of the others. And that was their failure. They did not pay the other people of Draenor the attention they needed.
She would not make that mistake again. She gathered a heaping armful of fish, leaving much more than half of it and turned down the path back to the village below. Sleepily, from the trees above, the jade serpent followed her path.
Dureana cradled Silvia close. The pale skinned Draenei looked down quietly at the priestess and whispered, "There is such compassion in your heart. Such love and joy. How can you still find it in these dark times? How can someone so special as you be?"
Kassanzi winked an eye open.
"#$%^."
Chains rattled with her waking. Very quickly the little redhead's temper reached it's boiling point as she realized she was unarmed, mostly unclothed, shackled, and in the room with Cristoph and Brok at the same time.
"$%^&in &*!@!"

"Even the darkest shadow isn't impenitrable." Silvia replied, nearly breathless as she spoke. "The darkest night brings only the Pale Lady's glow. The blackest cloud brings life-giving rain. And in the greatest evils, there are shimmers of hope." She said. "I am not special. I merely embrace the brighter side."
The Human groaned. He moved slowly, exhausted. But he did not hurt, there had been no struggle. Then why was he so tired?"
Slowly, he blinked. "Oh... right..."

Dureana's hand stroked her companion's body, starting from her belly and riding down the curves of her hips. Her heart thundered in her chest pounding alongside Silvia's. She whispered, almost jokingly, "The lighter side has given you much skill with your tail." Her face fell and she tugged Silvia closer, "I do not want these things to end." Her voice grew tired and she closed her eyes, "I do not want beautiful things like you to end. Don't mistake me for... Something different."
Kassanzi, while it took her a moment to notice, stared at Cristoph's rather complete nakedness. "The *!@#?" She asked.
Brok groaned and sat up. He rattled his skull and frowned, "Where's Mik'ga? Where's Silvia? Where'd Kisaeva and....other Kisaeva?"

"That does sound powerfull, but I imagine it draws power from a sun, not air. " Velnessia smirked.
"Play around with the power of my ancestors as much as you like whatever tiny remenats remain in that relic, but misbehave and I can show you the wrath of the sun." The arakkoa warned with narrowed eyes.
"You don't have to worry... Bird. That's what I'm here for." Said the blood knight and lightly punched the blood mage in the shoulder with a plated hand.
"Owiee..." Velnessia whimpered quietly to her self as she rubed where she was punched (that she consider to be a hard punch).

"I have not given in. I know one day there will be peace, and there will be life. But we live not in the dawn, but in the dusk of hope. The dawn will come again, one day. My 'master' promised he would end all of being." A thin smile spread across her lips and she continued on softly, "But he cannot do that. Life is too strong. Life will end him some day, and all the evil will unravel in his ending. I want to be there, in that day, in that glorious age, where there is peace and harmony, where my sons and daughters will know no fear, and our people will finally prosper." Gently held she Silvia against her heart and she went on, "I wish I could say the Naruu would save us. I wish I could say we could stand and fight. But we have fought. And we have fled. And now... There are so little of us..." She crooned faintly, pleadingly, her soul bared and raw, "Please young one. Stay with me. Guide my heart with your love. I know the path, help me stay the course. I need you by my side."
"Uh. Yeah," Brok nodded, starting to remember, and deciding to play along for his sake.

Christaph sighed. He lifted his arm slowly, letting the chains fall slack. He pulled suddenly, arms flexing as he pulled at his restraints.

"Please," Dureana pleaded, "Please, please, don't do this. You know this will mean your end. I can't lose you, not after just finding you. There is so little good left in the world." She shivered, bowing her head against Silvia's, "I can't let you die."
"You *!@#in' done yet?" Kassanzi asked, watching.
