I'm a warlock and im tired of hearing people say locks take no skill. Thats a load of crap. Locks take plenty of skill. Fear fear dot dot. Locks only use like 4 buttons. Tired of hearing all that. Most class only use a couple of buttons. You have to know when to use your skills. Like when to death coil, what curse to use, what pet should you use. Locks do take skill to paly and its kind of aggravating to hear people say we take no skill.

I see what your saying azzanpala, but i'm tired of people thinking that playing a warlock is like taking a walk in the park. Its not as easy as so many people think. Just hate when people say they are so easy to play when they dont even have a high lvl in that class. Thanks Nefarion, you pretty much said everything else i wanted to say.

Well we can tick of lock and rogue for needing skill since all they have to do is face roll and stun respectively
Hilarious. I've played both a warlock and a rogue. Neither are easy classes to master, and maybe you should play them before making a judgement.
Rogues are not easy to PvP with, as the enormous amount of melee options can sometimes be overwhelming.
Warlocks aren't easy either. Seeing as how the only way to not die as an affliction or destruction lock is never get hit, it's a very hard class to master. And a destruction lock is very difficult to gear.
Hunter = Thank you pet for doing all the work. Here's some treats :D
^^^ EASY
IM SURE ITS HARD TO PLAY A ROGUE

shadow priests require a lot of skill to dps, we don't have a nuke or a spell rotation, it requires you to be aware of your CDs and plan ahead.
In pvp, playing a shadow priest can be really hard, the first skill you should have is how to stay alive, then you can work on how to kill people =P

Please leave your stupidity somewhere else. And play a class before making judgments. Of what I and who I know have played, warlocks are one of the hardest classes to play at a high skill level, comparative to the rest of the classes.

OP, it depends on spec more than class. Anyone playing a spec considered highly unviable will have a damned hard time with it, and need to keep their skill and teamwork up to do well. That skews the results of this considerably.
I LOL'd. I played my buddies warlock for a few months. In S1/S2 (it was S3 at the time) I could kill anyone I wanted to with 4 dots a few fears and MAYBE a deathcoil. I rolled one myself after the fact and I love em to death.
P.S. I play a arcane / frost mage so maybe that was benificial to the class. My point was that certain classes( i.e. mages) are constantly moving and timing spells. Warlocks are like that oven that you "set it and forget it".
I've seen locks with lucky procs kill people on instant cast SB alone.
Destro is hard tho.

I for one tend to agree with Nefarion in most of what he has said so far. I myself have reached 2100+ rating with warrior/druid the most "easy-mode" comp. Yes, powering through 1500-2000 was pretty easy because my partner and I A: Had gear B: Had a strong comp C: Knew how to play.
So yes, maybe Wa/Dr is ridiculously easy getting past all the scrubs in the 1700s, but when you get to Glad rank, you can't just face-roll to victory anymore.
In terms of "which class is easiest/hardest," there is no clear choice.
On one end of the spectrum, you have a warlock/mage with pages and pages of useful spells which can help win a game and be used get out of sticky situations. This requires one type of skill--managing a lot of abilities and using them correctly to achieve success.
On the other end, you have something like a warrior or an enhance shaman. I honestly use half the spells that a warlock or healer has to use in a game, but I am expected to achieve the same results. So when I get into a situation where I am vulnerable to CC/burst/kiting, I don't have as many options as say a mage/warlock/druid.
All in all, it comes down to what kind of player you are. Are you the kind with crtl+shift+alt modifiers on every key because you have so many spells bound that you need that many, or are you the kind that maybe needs 1-6 and a couple others? Either way, it does take skill to beat teams who know just as much about the game as you do, and are out there to give you a serious run for your money.
