Yes CRICKET is her name ... Cricket Claeys
I asked her again to make sure I heard right and surely enough that is her name... confirmed and stamped on her license.
Now I'm really wondering what made her parents think this was going to be it? There must be a background to this because dam I'm sure her parents done $%^&ed up her life with this name as a kid.
I'm still laughing...
Is it rude if I asked her how her childhood was?

We've had cases here in Quebec of people calling their child Spatule (Spatula, in English. Supposed to be an exotic bird, but come on!) or C'est-Un-Ange (It's-An-Angel, in English. Some obscure reference to the Bible.)
