Extremely informative and much better than my feeble attempt at mapping out the bonfires. Way to go! thank you for going through all the time and effort for this. but i still have one unanswered question. when i was in ironforge earlier i saw several little ground flowers whizzing around. i asked about them and was told they were the handful of petals from the vendor there. i'm not as stupid as i look, so i know that the petals are not what i'm talking about. any idea on these things? i was starting to think maybe they came off the shoes? any ideas there?

Ground Flower
They're just part of the assortment of fireworks effect caused by multiple players twiling on a Ribbon Pole.

As far as i've experienced i get tagged for pvp upon entering a major city of the opposite faction, and not only are the guards annoying as a 62 mage, the fact that players of the opposing faction can join the fight makes it fairly hard, depending on time of day.
Still - all the fires can be gathered with 0-1 deaths each

If people could confirm the above corrections that would be nice.

doing the daily tossing and catching is
definately
worth the effort xp wise.
I've done it on all my characters (tried them on levels 16, 20, 35-36, 38-39, 65-66) and the xp scales per level,
a single toss/catch daily rewards a little over 6% of the xp needed for your next level. (for those that count in 'bars'; that's more than one bar).
edit: ehrm.. not true, it doesn't scale like that, but it does award a ridiculous amount of xp. at L35 it's about 6% of your level, at L7 is't more like 15% of your level
I haven't paid attention to the exact amount awarded for honoring or desacrating the bonfires though, but i remember that that was relatively good too.
so far I've levelled
3 alts
6 alts using these quests, 2 of which have levelled twice, one has levelled simply visiting a few bonfires.
if you do a lot of these quest to level, you'll have more quests left when you reach 70. at 70 the other quests will reward more gold to compensate for the xp that you dont need anymore, so in a sense this is free xp :)
..or free gold depending on how you look at it

Thanks for the guide Miyari!
Today I was able to get my 700th blossom to be able to get both the Brazier and the Spirit of Summer. Sadly, though, I missed one day of doing the torch catching, so I would have been able to get it yesterday had I done it.
