- A few months before WotLK someone invited me in a raiding guild. I joined, happy, and all seemed ok. After a few hours I asked in /g "I'm an Enchanter, anyone needs some Enchants?". The GUILD MASTER (level 80 FULL EPIC Warrior) replied "wat is enchant?". I linked him +18 Stamina on Shield and he said "can u do it on all items or only shield?". I immediately left the guild.
Before WotLK the guild leader was a level 80 full epic? How did they make level 80?Sorry, he was obviously 70, not 80. The story is true though.

So the guild I was running a couple months back wanted to start 10 man Naxx. We have a good group...good dps...good healers and me (druid) and a pally as tanks.
We start Arachnid and wipe on the first trash pull. We run back, zone in, buff up...and slowly make our way to the first boss. We get there...and I have a couple people asking me....why does he have 2 adds and like 6 million health?
I'd forgotten to take it off heroic and we cleared to the first boss with 10 on heroic. /facepalm
Needless to say we didn't have much trouble after that. Learning the 4 horsemen took a few wipes and after every wipe the joke was "Hey..is it on heroic?"
Lol I've also done this... its took us a few pulls before we realised it was on heroic :P we all felt pretty stupid

Biggest epic fail I've ever seen was a 67 Draenei Hunter. Stacked with Spell Power gear.

Today I was spamming in general: "LFG any heroic, I'm healer", when a Druid invited me for a timed CoS run. He had 20000 hp and 6000 mana so I asked him "Are you tank?" and he said "no sry cat dps".
We managed to get another Druid as tank and then 2 DKs as DPS, but
no one knowed that there is a portal in Dalaran that leads to the Caverns of Times
. All of them just used the portal to Thunder Bluff and then flied to Gadgetzan. I thought "Nice beginning... they want to do a timed run and they don't even know how to get here.".
Of course we failed, no drake mount for us.
The Druid that invited me for the timed run did less than 1200 DPS
.
No one was over 1800
.
