Doing 1100 dps in a 25-man Vault.
Something about this seems wrong.

epic fail.I target to heal, and I heal well. I have healed almost every Heroic, Naxx10, Naxx25, VoA10, VoA25, OS10 and OS25. So shut up and don't tell me "omg nub use healbot": I don't like it, and my mouse has only 2 buttons.
BTW, 2 epic fails yesterday:
A level 80 Warlock doing 500 DPS in CoS Heroic. An Imp alone, with the right talents, can do more than him. Epic fail? No, legendary fail: that Warlock even wanted to do a timed run.
The second epic fail is a level 80 Shaman that whispered me while I was healing DTK Heroic:
Shaman: "healer"
Me: "Is it a question?"
Shaman: "je"
Me: "Yes, I'm a healer, but I'm in DTK right now, don't you see?"
Shaman: "can jou giv me jour talent tre"
Me: "What?"
Shaman: "i wan jour talents"
Me: "I really don't understand, I can't give you my talents."
Shaman: "how i put talents i wana be a healer"
Me: "Put them in the Restoration tree then, and maybe read WoWWiki and some forums if you want the best builds."
Shaman: "pls giv jou talent pls"

Another one:
Epic geared Hunter in CoS heroic doing 800 DPS. After a few pulls I discovered that he was doing NOTHING, just attacking with his pet and sometimes autoshotting. He was AFK half of the time. I politely told him "Next time please say when you go AFK.", and after 2 minutes he replied "omg man i was not afk im here".
We moved for the next pull, but he didn't move (AFK again), so we left him alone and he died from the little zombies that respawned. After like 5 minutes he said "omg what happened?".

I'm pretty sure that bad-talking another player like this is against the ToS. Also, I find it a little funny that you're willing to show everyones name except your own.
Mine is Impurity... there...
And bad-talking about another player? ... it was a fail roll... what you expect? ... to show how great a dude was when he faild? ... you cant find good-fails...

Vault of archavon isn't really that hard imo its just a raid for the pvp people :p you can easily do it with 2 decent tanks and some healers the rest doesn't really matter.

This really belong to the epic fail thread: in VoA you need good DPS or the boss will enrage and wipe the raid. Who don't actually matter are the tanks and the healers: once I healed VoA with crap gear (just dinged to 80) and the off-tank wasn't even defense capped. No one died.
However, another story (yes, epic fails happen every day): yesterday I was on my Warlock alt and a guild member asked me if I wanted to do the daily heroic (Nexus). I accepted, but other guildies already did it, so we pugged 1 DPS, 1 tank and 1 healer.
The tank (Warrior) had crap gear, so someone asked "How much defense do you have?". He replied "full". My guild mate looked on armory and he had 482 defense. I talked with him in /w and we decided to keep the tank anyway because finding another one is usually hard and 2 bosses are just spellcasters and don't hit hard in melee. That's how we did it:
- First boss (Commander Stoutbeard): no wipe, but just because the healer was damn good.
- Second boss (Grand Magus Telestra): wiped because the tank used Intimidating Shout and the images went near a group of mobs (he didn't want to clear mobs before boss).
- Third boss (Anomalus): wiped because the tank suddenly died (crit?).
- Fourth boss (Ormorok the Tree-Shaper): wiped again because the tank died, he didn't realized that he should avoid spikes.
- Last boss (Keristrasza): wiped 2 times. First time the tank died, second time he pulled when the healer was not ready.
After like 2 hours we finally did it. Keep in mind that this tank was like 10 years old, he talked like this:
"omg i bugued i hit 6k"
"sry i have no
i dear
what the boss do never ben here b4"
Also he went AFK 2 or 3 times without telling, he didn't know how to keep aggro (mobs used to attack me just after 2 DOTs), and after the first boss he realized that his sword was broken and needed to repair.

Epic fail...I roll up with my warlock (a bit over 1k spell damage at the time) as destro, looking for a quick Heroic MGT run for some rep/easy shards/fun. Two mages are already there, I inspect, I see their green weapons (one was using the Totemic Staff) and I leave the group.
Guild had to pug in a mage for our 25 man naxx (everyone was off getting drunk, st.patties day) the mage was using a str+stam+ staff.

Today I was looking for 3 DPS for Daily Heroic:
"LF 3 good DPS for HoS Heroic (daily)."
I got like 15 whispers, almost all DKs. I invited a Hunter, then a Rogue, then I was about to invite one of the DK, but the Rogue asked me if I can invite his friend (Mage). I invited her and we proceded to summon.
The Hunter was almost full epic (got Champion of the Frozen Wastes title) and did 2300 DPS, but the Rogue and the Mage:
- Didn't know where HoS is and entered HoL instead.
- Didn't know that Paladins can ress.
- Managed to do 800 DPS at level 80 with full blue gear plus some crafted epics.
At least they were nice people, so instead of just kicking I gave them some advices to improve their DPS. We had to replace them at Tribunal Event because we wiped several times.
