This. If he managed to pull from the tank via straight up damage with a mere 2k DPS, then I'm sorry, but that's pretty fail. I highly doubt that the shaman was that bad. Chances are, it was the tanks fault.The tank was my girlfriend and she is pretty skilled. We are almost Champion of the Frozen Wastes (did all Heroics and raids, but not yet Malygos) and never had a problem.

Group Comp: Warrior, Hunter, Warlock x2, Shaman. I'm the hunter, guess who the healer and tank are?
Instance: Heroic Halls of Lightning, PUG style.

Six wipes:
1. Warlock #1 didn't stack up and the healer did not cast a heal on a single person other than the tank.
2. Warlock #1 forgot to run out on the first nova.
3. Warlock #2 has lag issues.
4. Warlock #1 forgets to run out on the
second
nova.
5. Warlock #2 complains that I am not stacking up properly. (Which I explain that I am positioned as close to the rest of the group as possible while still being ranged. He still tells me to stack up closer and I do, thus becoming a melee hunter. I warn him about this and he seems to be okay with it happening.)
6. Healer runs out of mana due to absence of dps.
For the seventh attempt, I announce that I will return to my previous roll as a ranged class and that I will be stacked up as close to the rest of the group as I possibly can manage without being melee again. The group seems fine with this and we finally manage to down the bastard without any problems.
Except the first warlock forgot to run out of the first nova.That's a true epic fail, because Loken is the easiest boss ever. Never wiped at him. If you have a Shaman healer you do NOT have to run away to avoid the AOE. Just tell him to put Nature Resistance Totem and to spam Chain Heal when the boss does his AOE. No one should move, just stay all near each other and hug the boss. I'm a Resto Shaman myself and I have always used this method to heal... again NEVER wiped.
Never again will I try to explain this method or even bring it up with a pug group. I've already done that once and got outrageous replies for even suggesting it. Almost got kicked out of the group after I mentioned it because they thought I was a raging idiot.

Here's a pretty epic fail from myself. May be off topic but whatever.
So everyone knows that today was patch day. I've been waiting for dual specs ever since I heard about them. So I wait (im)patiently for the servers to come back up. Finally I decide I'll go to the store and kill some time instead of trolling forums looking for any sign of when the server will be back on. So I'm walking to the store, and I think to myself "Hmm, my prepaid time must be getting close to the end. I should go to a game store and buy a new card." It's raining pretty bad outside though and I'm walking, so I decide to do it tomorrow. Then i think to myself "Wow wouldn't it suck if I came back and tried to log on and found out my time ran out today lol."
Anyone wanna take a guess what happened when I went to login finally?
Yep that's right . "Your prepaid time has run out. Please visit blah blah blah." :(
I hate myself so bad right now. Though I'm just gonna buy some straight from the website.

On my server there is a level 80 full epic DK with a stupid name who manage to do like 1000 DPS and knows absolutely nothing about the game. He is constantly spamming noob questions in trade, like: "how can i use glyphs?" or "where i can buy this item?" or "where i can learn first aid?" (with worse grammar of course).
Well, today, 2 hours after the 3.1 upgrade on EU servers, this guy was looking for a group for Ulduar 25 in trade. /facepalm

Anywho... I was offering (in trade) to run someone through Stratholme that was looking for some help. I am a level 70 Prot Paladin. So, this level 76 Paladin whispers me and goes on about how full of sh*t I am, because he can't even solo Strathomle at level 76, and that you need to be level 80. Obviously there... fail. How could you

I could go on for ages about how much people fail (especially some level 80's) in pre-BC raids. "Oh let's just pull the whole room!"

I know it, I soloed the darned place countless times when farming for the Baron's epic sword. Not to mention a terrifying and dimoralizing solo at level 60. My point is, that this person just simply needs to learn to play, if he can't solo it as a level 76 Paladin - Stratholme is a play pen for Paladins.

Today I pugged some people for Nexus Heroic, but one of the DPS immediately left the group saying "sry i dont wana group with this tank". I whispered him, asking "What's wrong with the tank?" (thinking he was a ninja or noob), and he replied "he got 0 def, all stamina sockets...". The tank was a Druid.

So today I was looking for a 25 man vault PUG and I join LFG. 5 minutes later i get an invite from a warrior. Theres about 15 people in the group when the warrior asks in raid warning, "PRESS 1 IF UR A TANK!". All the tanks press 1. He then asks in raid warining, "ALL DPS PRESS 2!". At this point I am thinking to myself, why didn't he just ask who the tanks and healers are? Everyone else would be a dps obviously. So then he asks again in raid warning "ALL CC PRESS 3!". So then two people on the raid ask if he has even done vault before. He says, "Ya I have, I just haven't logged on in 2 weeks."
The conversation ends up leading to the new boss in vault and how he doesn't know about it. At this point people are starting to leave the group and I decide to leave also. A minute later I get a wisper from him asking why i left. I reply, "You do not know much about this instance, you thought we needed CC and you had no clue about the new boss." He says, "I KNOW ABOUT THIS INSTANCE I JUST HAVEN'T BEEN ONLINE IN 2 WEEKS! I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING!" I ended up finding a good group, which he ended up joining too. We downed the boss and the warrior did an amazing 500 dps. /Sigh, one more person for my ignore list....

I had an epic fail once. Picked up a crossbow while leveling, simply for the +stam and didn't get any better when I was at 70. So there I was, tanking Magister's Terrace, and there was a call for a line of sight pull... I still had bullets in my backpack. I tried to pull as best I could, but ended up getting us wiped.

Firing bullets with a Crossbow is quite nice already :)
