I leveled by making the
Gnomish Army Knife
.
It took
lots
of attempts, I won't lie to you, but it was the easiest way as Saronite is easily farmable (as long as you or an alt is a miner of course).
All in all Ithink I went through at least 300 saronite bars before i got my 450 skill up. Have patience and good luck.
