Newsflash!
Ret pallys arent being nerfed at all in 3.0.3. :/
The only thing is repentance is being changed to 6 seconds in PvP
Did you make this account just to bash on ret pallies?
How about this-
Newsflash!-
Rogues can stunlock a pally if he can't use his bubble and kill him before he's out of it! Oh wait that takes skill to do....
Newsflash!-
Warlocks can kill a ret pally who only has 2 outs of their fear spamming, and no way to counter them. If the pally survives the fear chain, he has to run 40 yards at a warlock that is still damaging him because he has no instant "surprise, I'm here!" button. 16k stam>pally burst.
Still not enough?
Newsflash!-
Mages should never, ever die from a pally unless he has less than 8k hp.
No?
Newsflash!-
Shams can purge hand of freedom, making resto/ele shams capable of killing and successfully kiting a ret pally.
More?
Newsflash!-
Spell reflect works on judgements as well. Oh wait, that goes against years of warrior training. Who uses a shield? Honestly....
Scrubs! Every last one of you! You are all scrubs! QQ somewhere else. Certain classes can beat certain classes. Prot warriors can actually kill ret pallies if they are smart. But MS warriors have a pretty tough time of it(I know I rarely get killed by a MS warrior, pre and post 3.0.x). Never used to have issues with rogues, but I do now, if they are skilled and can actually play their class. Mages should always kill ret pallies. Ele shams can take ret pallies, but have to make sure they can kite when the pally bubbles. Enh shams can't take a ret pally unless he doesn't get his bubble off.
All the rest of you are QQing about being under geared or are used to being able to take 7 players at a time. Warlocks are still very hard to kill.
Ret pally PoV. You scrubs should L2Play or go back to playing UNO or mario cart with your mom! Vengence battlegroup has already learned how to handle ret pallies. That doesn't mean we can't do well, that just means we(and you) have to work for it. We still have no debuff, we still have no snare other than for druids, and our dps is still just as healable as any other class with no heal debuff.
QQ more. Go ahead. There are NO nerfs coming. We are balanced. You don't know how to play your class. Learn to fear all dps classes, and know that you can't ignore ret pallies anymore. Respect your peers and get a life outside of crying.

The fact is that everyone except ret pallys think that ret pallys are OP
QFT.
I'd stop arguing with that idiot though. Not worth the effort.

More QQ about my post.
/end rant
You don't understand this. Pally is a 1 hit wonder. Bubble once, HoJ once, twice if you don't have a dps on you. Bubble slows your attack speed. If you used your burst and are forced to bubble, you have to wait for the CD's. We can't heal on the run UNLESS we crit you with a special attack, and then it's only 1200-2500, which is pretty much 1 hit from anyone now.
Rogues have vanish you know. Bubble? Haha vanish! Now what? Re-open? Owned! No more vanish? Blind, run, restealth, re-open again! Haha!
All casters have snares and/or slows. Hunters have to get lucky to get HoF off when they slow us. But even then, if he can wait it out, he can get ahead.
What your QQ isn't understanding-
ALL we have to reduce kiting is 15% speed increas. That's it. If you have a 15 yard lead and start pillar humping, you will make it to the end of the bubble.
Now, for your idiocy. If you trinket out of repentance, you are a total nub. NUB! Trinket HoJ, not repentance. We can NOT burst 10k instantly. Go QQ somewhere else. 5k-6k depending on gear and lucky crits/procs(assuming full honor at least). We can do 10k with 2 casts, sure, I can see that.
JoJ doesn't prevent you from running. It prevents you from running faster than 100%. How does that help when you are snare spamming me?
Spell reflect works on HoJ too. 1 hit wonder used on the pally himself. GG.
Repentance is removed once you get hit. LOLCoil anyone? Maybe an instant aoe fear? Not spec'd? Awww, sucks to be you. If he hasn't used his bubble or HoJ yet, run and dot. Hmm, that's pretty tough to catch up to now isn't it? Curse of exh, have to bubble or HoF. You now have a 15-20 yard lead. GG, I lose. Pillar hump till bubble is over, fear, LOL drain.... It's happened many times, from many warlocks. You are scrubs.
Ele shams can kite us too, if they are good at it.
It takes SKILL! Learn 2 Play! You can't sit in the fire and not get burned anymore. Resil doesn't save your stupid arse like it used to.
It takes hard core QQ to pick out typo's to cry about. I have seen s3 locks with 16k hp(lock/spriest anyone?). I think you are related to Mcain.... You both cry about the same amount.

The fact is that everyone except ret pallys think that ret pallys are OP
That's because everyone but ret pallies have an understanding of a ret pallys strengths and weaknesses. It seems only ret pallys understand that you cant get into a dps race with us anymore and expect an easy win.
Adopt a strategy. maybe some skill while you're at it.
Yeah... so if the pally loses his bubble button the rogue can win, yay!
Usually, most 'skilled' rogues i face vanish. They know not to go toe to toe with a ret pally with bubble on. Then, they attack once the bubble goes away. I think they're on to us....

I've played dual ret pally 2v2, and have been out healed/played by a disc/mut rogue team. Don't give me that crap.
We have huge burst, yes. We have less burst than mages, but it's not disruptable unless you stun or kite us.
We have no heal debuff. Making our big burst healable. You can't tell me that over the span of a 6 second burst, you can't get a Greater heal, rejuve/swiftmend, NS/HT, holy light, or healingwave off. I know you can. How do I know? Oh yeah, I'm a healer too, on all 3 of my toons. They got the blunt end of a REALLY big freaking stick come 3.0.x for pvp.
With all the disrupts around, it's really F'ing hard to get a heal out. This makes ret pallies pretty powerful, yes. Are you going to argue? I'm sure you are.
I'll say it for the um'teenth time. Learn to kite. Whether you use stuns, snares, forms, idc. L2 KITE! Burst, run, burst, run. You can't continuously heal at all any more, so you need to allow your healer to do so. Again! IF YOU STAND IN FRONT OF THE CANNON, YOU WILL GET BLOWN AWAY!
Stop crying, and figure it out yourself. Arena isn't about 1v1. If it was, I would agree with all of you. Dual ret pallies are beatable with the right strategy and some luck. Heal thru it and outlast strategies don't work anymore.
Get with 3.0! Stop crying. Go cry on the wow forums.
Better yet, if you are so annoyed with the ret pally, get one on your team, then you can be happy with the supposed OP'ness.

Oh hell, I'll through in my two cents.
I play a mage, and I don't claim to be 'great' at pvp, but it doesn't take someone with a degree in engineering to know when a bridge is busted.
Paladins are very OP at the moment. As a mage, the fight usually begins with a quick favor to the mage, we hit first, they shrug it off, bubble, run him, hit for about 2k-3k. We blink, they stun, they repeat said beating, we nova, they hammer for another 3k.
The class can walk around hitting damage in the area that takes a mage with no armor a few seconds to build up for, only we have to do it without the benefit of plate, bubbles, and heals.
I don't really mind Paladins, they are OP'd but, it happens, things always change I'm sure. I do however get annoyed with the kids who had that useless 70 Pally sitting there, and suddenly they're playing them again going "omg Iz ben godly PvPs".

I can't believe people are trying to argue that ret pallys *aren't* OPd. Unbelievable.
I can't believe this is still an issue. This is what blizz thinks about our OPness....Nothing.

OK. The fact that you let a ret pally get in range for a stun as a mage even after using blink demonstrates your lack of understanding of how to beat a ret pally.
I will agree with you on this, there are alot of retnoobs out there that have jumped on the retwagon after our patch 3 buff. The truth is, most of them dont really know what they're doing either. When you are facing someone who has only been using their class for a week just to gank people in pve gear, they should be a joke to defeat, not hard. A few well timed frost novas or blinks and you will have them in a defensive and panicky state. The only question then is: Do I /lol or /spit... ;)
