I'm asking for a lock on this.
From death to politics to China to Hilter, I don't see this going anywhere good.

AHAHA
I find it ironic that the person that is mad because Hitler came up, is the very person who called me a fascist
Way to go dhampir1989
Its not because hitler came up, its because this has wandered way off topic, and is irrelevant to the forum.

I have elected to issue a warning rather than to lock this topic.
Blizzard may or may not regulate your access to WoW, but I regulate your access to Wowhead, so unless you guys stop bickering Daddy's going to have to ground you. :P

Kid plays long enough to die, how does that sound?
Listen, idc what you "doctors" think about how long a kid should be able to stay awake for, the fact is, he passed out and was sick, therefore, there is something wrong here, and i think that Blizz should place a small time limit on the game and make it so you cannot log back on until you have rested a little bit.
Is that a horrible thing to suggest- i want to make sure that young kids do not die at the computer like they have prior to this episode?
If I decided to go buy a pack of cigarettes and I smoked for 20 years, eventually developing terminal lung cancer, who is at fault?
It's me. There's a clear warning on the back of the box stating that this is a dangerous activity, and while you may never experience any symptom of lung cancer or emphysema in your life of smoking, there's still a risk that you take.
Inside every manual and/or box to every video game on the market, there is a warning saying that you play this at your own risk. If you're epileptic and you play the game anyway, that's your fault. It doesn't matter if someone doesn't read the warning or not, it's still there, telling you that playing a video game for an extended period of time could be dangerous.
If you put a limit on time to play, what makes you think the person wouldn't just go play another video game or engage in other unhealthy activity for the amount of time that they're banned from WoW? Blizzard cannot force their players to go to sleep and be healthy. If you're under 18, it's your guardian's responsibility. If you're over 18 or you don't have a guardian, it's your responsibility. Blizzard cannot be responsible for everything that happens because someone neglected to read the warnings.
As an American citizen, I cannot sue the military because someone I know was killed in a war after being given fair warning about the dangers they might encounter. If someone was sent into a battlefield who never signed up for that position and was supposed to be doing something out of harm's way, that's more fair grounds, even though the case would probably be lost.
Main message of this post:
If you've been warned about something and you do it anyway, it's your guardian's fault, not yours. If you have no guardian, it's your fault.
EDIT: To Malygayne, you posted like 30 seconds before I made this post, so please don't ground me :(

you can stay up later than 24 hrs, then you are proving that this game is addictive and as such, my plan is one that would certainly curb people from harming themselves.
This is my last post in this thread.
This sentence does not make sense.
Anything can be addicting, running, computer games, eating apples, whatever you can think of. The reason I get extremely hyper when I have caffeine and my other friends can drink 3 cups of coffee and not feel a thing is because my body chemistry is different then theirs. Different people can become addicted to different things, and while WoW is known to be an addictive thing, it's something you have to be able to set a limit on, and if you're not able to do that yourself it's not Blizzard's job to shut your account off.
If you're breaking the law by advertising or RMTing in trade chat, that's different. Blizzard has the right to step in and take action because in their terms of agreement, you agree to not do that or face account termination. This is because you are directly affecting Blizzard's servers and the community they are
supposed
to moderate, similar to how Malgayne, Miyari, Skosiris, Avallen, Discover, Adashiel, and Mystadio are supposed to be in charge of what happens here. If you get addicted to reading the fourms, that's not their issue. Anyone can develop and addiction to anything. I'm sort of addicted to WoWinsider and this website, but it's not Malgayne's responsibility to shut off my account and tell me I need to leave my house more (which I do). Malgayne and the rest of the staff supply the website; it's not their responsbility to make sure I don't spend too much time on it. Wowhead's a free site, and it's no one's job but mine to make sure I limit the amount of time I spend on here.
Lost, I don't want to end up not liking you, so lets just stop all discussion from here on out =D

You are too epic to be mentioned. Just mentioning Skyfire would make this page explode.
I mentioned TheOnyx, what are you talking about, hungry? You've gone crazy.
