Who here plays a character that is the opposite gender?

I play a 72 female human warrior. The vast majority of my alts are female. I guess for me I get to be a guy all the time and I really don't like the way that the male models look with the exception of the Dranei. I have a lowbie Dranei priest that's male and my DK is a human male but mostly because I wanted him to look big and bulky and Arthas-like.
I don't play the female warrior because I'm roleplaying a female. I do it because that's my girl. She's a sexy prot warrior juggernaut, and that's the image I want others to see. Plus my g/f plays a human female shadow priest. The two of them make a good couple in game.

Main is male, alt is female.
Saying it's screwed to play a different sex character points to people actually feeling there is a link between themselves and their character, despite all they might say to the contrary. I don't feel there is any so i just choose whatever strikes my fancy.
As a general rule, this is the choices i'd be open to depending on each race :
night elves : male (female animations are just to bad for my eyes)
human : both
dwarf : male (females dwarves are unattractively designed and have no beards)
gnome : female (i mostly dislike the male hairstyles)
dranei : both
orc : male (don't like females, though i don't like the size of male shoulders either)
troll : male (if i do a troll, it might as well look as one and not a green human)
undead : both
tauren : male (if i chose tauren it's for their bulk, so no point in taking the smaller version)
blood elves : haven't looked at their skins enough to know but probably female (the bulky males don't go with the type)
Where it says both, it means that i'll have to depend on whatever background/balance with existing character/dice roll/... reason i'd find when creating it.

any horde character i make will be female
because i hate how all the male character are hunched over.
alliance i'll usually play male except for night elf because they look wierd

I understand not wanting to look at a male toon while playing so much but all you see is the backside of it 99% of the time anyway
If you chose a female character for this, I might suggest you get more confident with your sexuality.

Can I just point out that if you spend '99% of the time' staring at your avatars backside, be it male OR female, to not try and join my groups. I prefer to spend the time looking at targets, where free space is, etc etc, rather than a rather small and indistinct area of the screen.
That said. My priest is female, just because I feel it fits the class better. And my DK is a female cow, simply because a blue haired DK doing the handbag dance is SO full of win.

The only female character I have, is my Priest. And that is because I simply don't like the look of a healing human male. All my other characters are male though. I also has a level 42 female tauren, but I haven't played on her for a while. I don't look for the most "badass" look on a race, I just pick the one I like.
