I have not read the whole thing so not sure if this has been said yet. But the Pandaren would not join the horde as they share a close kinship with the Ironforge Dwarves due to the fact that both have a strong loving for alcoholic beverages.

Yeah, and the fact that their most known leader (Chen Stormstout) fought alongside the Horde against Admiral Proudmoore means nothing.

Yeah, and the fact that their most known leader (Chen Stormstout) fought alongside the Horde against Admiral Proudmoore means nothing.
Also the milennia of political independence and neutrality also means nothing.
We're working here under the assumption that they will join either the Horde or the Alliance. Your argument is only valid to a completely different discussion.

Recall from Warcraft II.
It is specifically stated in one of the mission briefings that the Draenei have been completely annihilated. And that they where a slave race, implying that they weren't SUPA special to begin with.
Completely. Utterly. Forever.
Then Blizzard made Warcraft III. I have never seen a continuity so retconned before. Seriously.
Then WoW came out. Then BC came out. Draenei where introduced as Uber-Special Space Faring Magical Beings of Win and Awesome and there was no way that the Orcs killed them all because they flew off in their Magical Spaceship Of Glittering Dimension Travel.
Scientists have also said many times in history that somethings were impossible, that today we do with ease. My point is: just because the character said that there were no Draeneis left, it doesn't mean hes the voice of reason. Whoever it was in the game that said the Dreanei were dead did not know some of them had escaped in the Exodar.
