Phase 4: At 50% Health, The Lich King will shield himself in Ice and make himself completely invulnerable, while yelling, "I've had enough of this!"
(Warning: If any of the NPC boss allies die after this, the whole encounter resets)
He will then proceed to attempt to one-shot the tank when the blow is deflected by an arrow shot. Sylvanas Windrunner spawns at the left pillar rooftop and leaps down (its about 60-70 yards) and say, "Didn't you remember? We had a score to settle, Arthas."
The Lich King then says: "Hah, I will take great pleasure in doing this. You remember the outcome of the last fair clash when you were alive, I presume?"
Sylvanas says: "How could I forget? That's how I became this..abomination in the first place. And now I will have my vengeance. Fire the plague barrels!"
From up above on a zeppelin, several plague barrels fall and explode, exuding deadly clouds.
The Lich King: "Hah! Surely you should know I am unharmed by such a pathetic plague. *cough cough* what is this?"
Sylvanas: "Don't you remember? This is the strain that the Forsaken apothecaries have strived day and night to create. Even after Puttress made that monstrosity of a plague, we have engineered it only to destroy you, you Scourge monsters."
Abominations and other undead begin spawning from the circle but are promptly slain by the plague clouds.
Tirion Fordring then says: "Strike now! This is the Lich King's final hour!"
The Lich King will begin using the following attacks
:
Vengeance of the Past:
Lets loose his cruel memories of the past, debuffing the entire raid by reducing damage and healing done by 50% for 10 seconds. This ability also does 7.5k Shadow Damage to players and 25k Shadow Damage to the Boss NPCs helping you.
Slaying Strike:
Deals 150% normal damage and also deals an addition amount of damage equal to 35% of the target's maximum health.
Frozen Circle:
This effect is similar to Flame Wreath
. He makes 5 giant icy rings in random areas. They will gradually shrink and disappear after 20 seconds. If someone moves while touching a Frozen Circle, a blast of frost will radiate out from him/her, dealing 150k damage to the player (NPCs/pets do not trigger a circle), and 50,000 Frost Damage to anyone within 20 yards of the player. In addition, The Lich King will immediately recast 2 more Frozen Circles.
Unhallow
: Think Dungeons and Dragons. The Lich King will create a huge (about 30 yards radius) area that he will teleport to the center to. This area increases the damage of all his attacks by 200%, and he will move 30% slower while in the area. In addition, all players and friendly NPCs will take 3000 damage per second (this counts the modifiers) in the area.
Plague of the Forsaken:
The Lich King is affected by the Plague of the Forsaken, imbued with a poison fashioned by Sylvanas long ago. Increases damage dealt to Arthas by 50%, and deals 300,000 Damage per 5 seconds (already modified). In addition, the Plague will paralyze The Lich King every 1 minute, increasing damage done to him by another 50% (stacks additively with the other modifier) and stunning Arthas for 2 seconds.
Phase 5
: At 30%, The Lich King will become infuriated and begin calling on the souls of Frostmourne to fortify his power.
Plague of the Forsaken:
The effects start receding, and now only add an addition 25% damage modifier (this is a total of 250% normal damage, because of Tirion's aura as well, for all you people who aren't number crunching).
Bend Will:
Whenever The Lich King says "Your will...is not your own.." he will mind control 3 players in the raid for 20 seconds, making them deal 100% damage and have 100% extra health. This is used every 45 seconds or so. He does not use this on the Main Tank.
Tainted Veins:
Diseases the Main Tank with Tainted Veins, which deals 4.5k damage per 3 seconds, and also deals 4.5k damage to anyone within 10 yards. Cleanse this immediately before Arthas spreads it to the raid. 30% cleanse chance.
Obliterate:
Strikes for full damage, and deals an additional 5k for each disease on the target. In addition, the attack does a knockback effect and The Lich King will then proceed to attack the next on the agrolist.
Break Heroism:
Used only when the main agro target is an NPC. Deals 50k damage. The Lich King will use this every 3 seconds.
Raise Hero
: This is used in place of Raise Dead. It will raise a Ghoul with 900k Health (it is affected by the plague). However, he will also use this to resurrect dead boss NPCs, which is an automatic wipe.
Phase 5b.
After 2 minutes of being in Phase 5(a), The Lich King will revert to his second Phase, in which the spirit of Nerzhul becomes corporeal, while The Lich King attacks as its own body. The Spirit of Nerzhul's and The Lich King's health pools are linked. This will reset aggro.
The Lich King will continue his normal attacks, but deals 25% less damage.
The Spirit of Nerzhul must be tanked by a warlock or mage or some other sort of ranged player as he uses:
Enveloping Darkness:
This is Nerzhul's main attack. It cannot be interrupted and deals 20k Shadow Damage (partially resistible and fully resistible) to the target and anything within 10 yards of him/her. In addition, all damaged targets have their Shadow and Frost resistances reduced by 10 and damage taken from all sources are increased by 10%. This effect stacks 1000 times.
Deathwave:
Radiates a wave of death every second, dealing 30,000 damage to any melee attacker. It will also cause NPCs to attack The Lich King instead.
Pure Loathing:
Nerzhul releases his hate for the Burning Legion in concentrated form, dealing 30,000 Shadow damage to the target and reducing healing effects by 50% for 10 seconds. It is recommended that this is absorbed or shielded in some sort of way. This has a 6 second cast time.
After 2 minutes in this phase, Nerzhul's spirit goes back and merges with his body, and Phase 5(a) begins again. Aggro will also be reset.
Phase 6:
At 5%, The Lich King will become infuriated, and will you to die. He increases his damage by 1000% and splits into the separate entities of the Lich King's body and Nerzhul's spirit However, at the exact same time, Tirion will weave a blessing that increases all player's health by 200% and regenerate 75% health every 3 seconds.
The Lich King's body also uses:
Helstrike
: Completely vanquishes the target, dealing 500,000 Shadow and Frost Damage (unmodified)
and Nerzhul's Spirit uses:
Complete Wrath:
Which increases his cast speed by 75%.
Phase 7:
At 1%, Nerzhul will merge again with his body, and prepare to deal his final blow when a blast of fire, imbued with life-force imprisons him. Alexstrasza flies in and says:
"That is enough! There will be no more conflict here. You, the Lich King, have deserved the right to be purged from this world. You will no longer disturb the way of life here, Nerzhul. Begone!"
She then commands the fire to collapse in, incinerating The Lich King. She then breathes fire over the ashes, which reform into the form of Arthas (dead) in his true human form. Nerzhul's spirit gradually flies out of Arthas as a whitish vapor.
The loot will be in a secret compartment of the throne.
(The rest is history)

Oh cmon guys.
This encounter was more epic than the OP's. -.-

Haxzor
boo, I don't want Arthas back. I just say he runs away like Illidan!
or stuns the raid for 15 seconds and uses Death Gate
Post by
Interest
I'm very sure Illidan died by 25-man raid and 2 lesser lore characters.
Post by
Avallen
Or, you know, The Lich King could just die.
Arthas doesn't exist anymore. It's just Ner'zhul, guys. Read up on your Icecrown chains.

It was fun to read. :D
I definitely think Sylvanas should get the killing blow somehow though. :P
I mean, he
did
turn her into a Night Elf. By accident or on purpose, that was just evil.

She "does" get the killing blow....in a way.
At least she got her revenge.
Also
@ Mizak: At least I
have
creativity.

I dunno, I was making most of it up as I went along.....
I was also doing a good amount of it at 12 midnight too. =).
(Need to change some of the health statistics on the adds)

I wasnt number crunching, but the ideas/themes/people i thought was pretty good.

Thanks for the positive comments =P.
I was thinking about Jaina coming in after the battle too...but I'd think that Rhonin and Varessa coming in after the battle is over, and then breaking the news to Jaina and Thrall's comforting her, is a far better ending.
Post by
Fel4
I'd say Rhonin and Varessa. I want to see some reconciliation from the two sisters, but thats me.

Just wow.. I am amazed.
Sorry about walls of text. D;.

Interest that was awesome, easily one of the best I've read so far. I do have to side with Avallen though Arthas is Ner'zhul now.
Post by

I know. I was just saying "Arthas" because I was too lazy to type Ner'zhul. I'll correct it though to "The Lich King."
There, edits have been done.

The Lich King
Health: 125,000,000
This fight will take place on the Summit of Icecrown, just below the Frozen Throne.
Phase 1: In Phase 1, Arthas will be sitting upon his throne, immune to all attacks. Before he can be challenged, the raid must battle the shades of Bolvar Fordragon and Saurfang the Younger.
Shade of Fordragon
Health: 14,500,000
Shade of Saurfang
Health: 14,500,000
Both of them will use similar abilities.
Shade Strike: Wounds the target with a spectral weapon, causing 9,500 shadow damage and increasing all damage taken by the target by 6%. Stacks up to 3 times.
Haunting Blast: Sends out a blast of spectral energy, causing 11,000 frost damage in a frontal cone.
Lash of Agony/Lash of Suffering: Both Bolvar and Saurfang blast all players within 45 yards with shadow energy, causing 16,000 shadow damage. In addition, each one will apply a particular debuff. Bolvar will apply Agony, which deals 1,000 shadow damage per second for 10 seconds. Saurfang will apply Suffering, which deals 1,000 frost damage every second for 10 seconds. If both debuffs are up on one player at once, they merge into Pain and Suffering, which increases all damage taken by 500% in addition to their previous effects.
Arctic Frost/Unholy Mark: Bolvar inflicts four random players with an incurable disease, causing 3,500 frost damage every two seconds for 12 seconds, and slowing the afflicted players attack, casting, and movement speed by 40%. When the effect ends, the player will become frozen solid for 3 seconds. Saurfang afflicts four random players with an unholy mark, causing 3,500 shadow damage every two seconds for 12 seconds and increasing the mana/rage/energy/runic power cost of all their abilities by 50%. When the effect ends, the player will flee in terror for 3 seconds.
Brothers in Death: If either Bolvar or Saurfang drops more than 1,000,000 below the other, they will both gain the Brothers in Death effect, increasing all damage dealt by 30%, attack speed by 20%, and reducing all damage taken by 15% until their health is within 1,000,000 HP of each other’s again.
Phase 2: Once both shades are dead, High Overlord Saurfang and Tirion Fordring will emerge from Icecrown, each bringing six Elite Horde Assaulters/Elite Archknights. Saurfang and Tirion will engage Arthas (who is still immune), and the raid and NPCs are left to deal with the massive waves of undead Arthas will soon summon.
The waves will each be composed of:
Skeletal Champion of Icecrown (600,000 HP)
Five are spawned every 15 seconds.
Abilities:
Thunder Stomp: Causes 4,000 nature damage to all players in 10 yards, and knocks them back 10 yards.
Necrotic Champion of Icecrown (600,000 HP)
Four are spawned every 25 seconds.
Abilities:
Shadow Bolt: Fires a shadow bolt at a random target, causing 7,000-8,500 shadow damage. 2 second cast time.
Shadow Bolt Volley: Fires a shadow bolt volley at up to 10 nearby players, causing 6,000-9,000 shadow damage. 3 second cast time.
Draining Beam: Drains up to 2,000 mana every second for 6 seconds from up to five random players.
Abominable Champion of Icecrown (850,000 HP)
Two are spawned every 40 seconds.
Abilities:
Putrid Aura: Causes 1,200 nature damage every second to players within 15 yards of the abomination, as well as reducing their movement speed by 25%.
Chain Hook: Hooks three random players, pulling them towards the abomination and causing them to bleed for 24,000 damage over 8 seconds.
Gargoyle Bombardier of Icecrown (500,000 HP)
Four are spawned every minute.
Abilities:
Swift Flight: Cannot be hit by melee attacks. Chance to be hit reduced by 30%.
Launch Plague Bombs: Launches plague bombs, causing four plague clouds to spawn in random areas. Players standing in plague clouds take 12,000 nature damage per second.
Dive-bomb: Dive-bomb a random area, causing 2,500 physical damage to players in the area, as well as knocking them back 20 yards.
Undead will stop spawning after 4 minutes. Phase 2 ends once all undead have been killed.
Phase 3: Once the undead have all been killed, Saurfang, Tirion, and Arthas will take their fight into the midst of your raid. You will now be fighting The Lich King, who is being tanked by Saurfang/Tirion.
The Lich King’s abilities are:
Death Coil Volley: Causes 7,500-11,000 shadow damage to 5 random players.
Plague Blast: Arthas fires a blast of a deathly plague, causing all players within it’s linear path to take 16,000-18,000 nature damage.
Cloud of Death: Spawns a Cloud of Death on top of four random players. Every three seconds, players standing inside the cloud will become affected by one of the following diseases:
Burning Blood: Causes 2,000 fire damage every 2 seconds for 30 seconds.
Frozen Veins: Reduces movement, attack, and casting speed by 20% for 30 seconds.
Unholy Virus: Increases the mana/rage/energy/RP cost of all abilities by 50% for 30 seconds.
Pestilence: All players affected by diseases are hit by Pestilence, causing 11,000-13,500 shadow damage. All players within 8 yards of players hit by Pestilence receive all of the targeted players diseases, and also take the shadow damage.
Erupting Epidemic: Instantly erupts all diseases on ten random players, causing 5,000 nature damage per disease, but curing them of the diseases. If a player with no diseases is hit by this, they are stunned for 5 seconds.
Brutal Sleet: Summons three small sleet-storm. They are spawned on the edges of the plateau, and will slowly moves towards the center, gradually getting bigger. Players standing under the storm will take 14,000 frost damage every 2 seconds. The storms are attackable by ranged attacks, and have 250,000 health. Any storm that is able to reach the center of the plateau will become a Brutal Twister, which will rapidly move around the field, causing fatal damage to any player that it makes contact with.
Phase 4: Phase 4 begins when Arthas hits 75% HP. Sylvanas Windrunner will arrive to assist the raid, along with six Undercity Deathguard Elites. He will retain all of his previous abilities, and gain the following ones:
Grasping Dead: A swarm of zombies, burrowed underground, will spawn bellow Arthas and begin moving out in a circular manner. If they make contact with a player, they take 17,000 shadow damage and are immobilized for 8 seconds. Jumping allows the player to avoid the attack.
Mental Domination: All players are mind controlled by the Lich King for 20 seconds. During this time, they will attack each other, similar to the Blackheart the Inciter fight.
Screeching Souls: Summons 3-5 Screeching Souls around Arthas, who will start running through the raid. As they run, they will be constantly casting Screech of the Dead, which causes all nearby player to run away in fear for 2 seconds. They each have 100,000 health, and, when killed, spawn a Soul Sphere. Players can use the Soul Sphere to restore 10,000 mana over 6 seconds. The soul sphere disappears after 5 uses.
Rage of Frostmourne: Arthas performs a whirlwind-like attack, causing him to rapidly move around the plateau while spinning wildly. Any players that come into contact with him take 18,000-22,000 damage and are knocked back 15 yards. This persists for 15 seconds, during which he will cease using his other abilities, except for Death Coil Volley.
Death Coil Volley: Now deals 9,000-13,500 damage, and hits 8 targets.
Phase 5: Phase 5 begins when Arthas hits 50% HP. He will put a barrier around himself, which will make him immune to all damage. He will spawn four undead giants. Each one that is killed will cause Arthas to loose 2.5% of his total health.
Ghastly Behemoth of Icecrown
Health: 3,000,000
Abilities:
Stomp: Causes 9,500-10,500 physical damage to all players in 8 yards, and knocks all beside his primary target back 10 yards.
Bone-Crunching Strike: Deals 28,000-32,500 physical damage to his primary target. If this attack brings the target below 35% health, they will received Broken Spine, reducing their defense skill to 0. 3 second cast.
Volatile Belch: Belches out a deathly blob of vomit, causing 11,000-13,500 nature damage to a random player. A Belch Cloud is spawned around this area, causing all nearby players to take 5,500 nature damage every 2 seconds.
Behemoth Roar: Causes all players in 20 yards to run away in fear for 6 seconds.
Falling Parts: Each time the Behemoth looses 5% of it’s health, all players in 10 yards take 6,000-8,000 physical damage. There is also a 25% chance that they will be stunned for 4 seconds.
During the fight against the giants, Arthas will continue using Death Coil Volley.
Phase 6: Once Arthas reaches 40% due to the slaying of the Giants, he will summon his frost wyrm steed. A very large number of low-health ghouls will begin rapidly spawning. Meanwhile, red drakes will begin showing up. Up to 15 players will be able to mount upon the drakes, and will take off to fight Arthas siege-style.
Gargantuan Frost-Wyrm of Icecrown
Health: 30,000,000
Frost Blast: Launches a frost blast, causing 25,000-50,000 frost damage to any players it runs into.

Gift of the Red Dragonflight: Channeled spell that restores 50,000 health and mana over 5 seconds. 25 second cool down.
Phase 7: Once Arthas’s Froat Wyrm has been killed, he will Crash-land on the glacier. The raid will have to once again engage him. He will use the same abilities he did in Phase 5, only now he is affected by Wrath of the Lich King, which increases all damage done by 20% and reduces all damage taken by 25%. Also, Death Coil Volley will now hit 10 players, and Brutal Sleet summons four storms.
Phase 8: Phase 8 begins when the Lich King reaches 20% Health. The Lich King will, after a short speech, separate into three different enemies: The Spirit of Arthas, The Spirit of Ner’zhul, and Frostmourne. They will each share what remains of the Lich King’s health pool.
The Spirit of Arthas (Will be tanked by Tirion)
Abilities:
Corrupted Consecration: Plagues the ground with an unholy consecration, causing all players within 10 yards of Arthas to take 8,000 shadow damage every 3 seconds for 18 seconds.

Totem of Fel-Flame Spirits: Summons a totem of Fel-Flame spirits with 250,000 health. It will a random player for 12,000-13,5000 fire damage every 2 seconds.
Totem of Dark Mending: Summons a totem of dark mending with 300,000 health, which will drain 2,500 health from four random players every two seconds, healing all three bosses for the amount drained.
Frostmourne (Will be tanked by Saurfang)
Abilities:
Whirlwind: Causes 12,000 physical damage to all nearby players
Rampage: Frostmourne will charge a random player, causing 9,500 physical damage and stunning them for 3 seconds.
Reaping of Souls: Frostmourne begins to absorb the souls of all players within 40 yards, causing 60,000 shadow damage over a 12 second channeled duration.
Soul-Mangle: Causes 25,000-28,500 shadow damage to the
player
highest on it’s agro list.
When all three bosses reach 1%, they will come together again to reform the Lich King, who will be once again immune. After a boasting speech of how you fought well but your time has now come, he will cast a spell that will cause everyone on his glacier to drop to 1HP and become incapacitated, except for Tirion and Saurfang. The three will briefly duke it out, with some epic dialogue thrown in. As Arthas is about to slay his defeated foes, Frostmourne will suddenly cease to obey him. It will fly out of his hands. The spirit of every important person that has been taken by the blade will then take a turn to mock Arthas, and then they will use the Lich King's own weapon to slay him.
