If you're not key binding and you're serious about your game-play you
need
to start binding. Sure you might be able to get the job done by clicking, after all the buttons are click-able for a reason, but in top end encounters your mouse already has enough to do, such as rotate your character or camera, target mobs or what ever else a specific encounter might require your mouse for. If your trying to do everything with your mouse you'll find that your overwhelmed with tasks for just the right hand to do.
At first binding keys can feel awkward, but it doesn't take long until you get the feel for the whole keyboard beyond ASDW. Once you get used to it you'll find your reaction speed increasing and you'll be able to multitask MUCH better.
Start with binding just a few keys that are easily in reach like 1, 2, 3, R, V, etc. Make sure these keys are bound to abilities that are used often or in situations that require fast reaction time, such as taunt or maul. After that you can start throwing in additional keys as well as Shift or Ctrl.
I Personally only have 15 keys bound that I use and that's plenty for most classes, especially for a druid when most of your abilities aren't able to be cast together due to forms.
Good luck making the transition, I think you'll be much happier.

I'm not going to jump in the whole 'you must keybind!' bandwagon as I do know people that play as clicks and do just fine...however...
Just my experience with it, I clicked at the beginning (as many did) and when I started trying to maximise my gameplay as much as possible I of course encountered many threads like this and decided to try to slowly work myself into keybinding. It was slow and annoying at first but once I started getting used to it here is what I noticed. The game felt soooo much more immersive, I didnt have to move my eyes to use any of my abilities I normally use, so I was looking at the game world the entire time. It was really great and really makes your character 'come alive' a bit more.
I found keybinding to be much more fun for me, others that I know wont even entertain the thought of trying it, but if you are open to the possibility I would definitely encourage you to give it a try just to see if you like it. If you don't want to or don't like it when/if you do try it then I would suggest using a bar mod (like bartender4) to arrange your bars in a way that puts them closer to your characters line of sight (but not interfering with targetting etc) and also to scale emergency buttons up a bit also possibly using the fadeout feature so that buttons not used normally in combat can be hidden thus they aren't a distraction in your peripheral vision during fights.

When it comes down to it, can you tank as a clicker? Yes.
Will you be a faster, better more efficient tank with keybinds? Yes.
Will raid leaders take a keybinded tank over you the clicker tank? Yes.
Is it worth just taking 15 minutes out of your gaming to learn a couple simple keybinds to become twice as useful? Yes.
Will you be a utterly terrible and useless PvPer as a clicker? Yes.
Can you ignore what 90% of the experienced WoW population suggests and just stick with your clicking? Yes.
Clickers that won't learn keybinding are like the Amish, electricity would make life a million times easier but who cares...sitting in my corner with my straw and a cow is fun too!

Ha, no a "good" clicker WILL NOT be as fast as a "good" or even "average" clicker...that's just a plain lie and theres no way in hell you can believe that to be true.
And you can't kite and click, you cant jump...spin the screen 360 and hit a key while doing it as a clicker. Sorry right there makes you inferior.
And yes, a raid leader will either find someone who keybinds or get you to learn because its not because they are worried about you making a mistake..but if someone else in the raid does clickers wont get the aggro back before the boss hits that overzealous mage just once.
People don't say keybinding is better then clicking because they haven't tried it, or because they want to stroke their epeen over clickers...its just flat out better and everyone with a brain knows this.
I have a buddy who used to be a clicker, had trouble getting to 2k arena ratings...he took the time to learn keybinding and now he sells personal rating as one of the best pvpers on the Tichondrius server.
If you don't want to conform to a obviously faster, superior method of executing abilities, that's fine. But don't state that you are in any way equal to someone who does. Its truth and you need to get over it.

Will you be a faster, better more efficient tank with keybinds? No, a good clicker is as fast as a good keybinder.
For anything other than quite basic tunnel vision style tanking, this is not technically true. There is hard science involved, and pressing the key directly adjacent to your finger is faster than clicking anything on screen, and with a smaller margin for error. It frees up your eyes for uninterrupted concentration on something else. It also frees your mouse up to click countless other things, so until they invent a mouse than can click 2 things at once clicking will always be a bit inferior.
Will raid leaders take a keybinded tank over you the clicker tank? Not one with any sense.
Agreed. Keybinders can still fail badly due to countless other reasons. Anything in PvE that requires super fast reaction time can normally be predicted anyways. If you are a really fast clicker then you are unlikely to ever face any challenge in PvE that would make keybinding mandititory.

Parrzell you are talking out of your ass and everything you say is just made up opinions of yourself.
Its not physically possible to be faster to be clicking then keybinding, and even more so when moving. I don't care how good you tell me you are...its not possible to be faster to look at the screen, find the button you want and move the mouse over and click it, then just making a very slight muscle memory movement while never moving your gaze.
I click and I run circles around my other guild tanks
-No you cannot run circles around a player while clicking...unless they're standing still.
...are going with this one. Maybe you just like spining around? Im not sure.
-I clearly meant in a pvp circumstance.
...simply because I can do it faster than any other tank we have...
-No you don't pick up aggro faster, your other tanks would have to be VERY new to the game to be slower then you.
No its that you suck at clicking, being a good keybinder is easier than being a good clicker.
-Being a good keybinder is easy. Being a good clicker is a waste of time. Clicking is to keybinding what handwriting is to typing. Its slow and outdated.
Please stop posting trying to convince yourself that you are a good player. You click, you are a bad player, doesn't matter how you spin it or how far your guildies carry you through instances...you sir are a bad player, the end. I don't care how egotistic I sound, because I KNOW that keybinding is faster, easier and superior to clicking.
So just let this thread die, the final conclusion. If you click you can tank, but you'll never have the potential of a keybinded player. The End. Thread Closed. /EndRant. Period. Oh and you'll be god awful at pvp, just a mockery.

@Barrakura: Huh. So you rather flame and make yourself look like an idiot, than believe that Parazell just might have
mad skillz
? Get over it, mister. There might be people that are good with clicking, and there is no way you can prove otherwise.

My entire point is that even if he had mad skills, it STILL couldn't be better then keybinding just by the physics of it. And why would I need to prove there isn't people good at clicking? I already said I think there is. But the possess a useless skill. And I am perfectly fine with looking like an idiot, even though I said this threat should stop...which clearly makes people post more? huh?...I'll continue to respond and tell clickers that they are BAD players. Just because you can clear the whole game doesn't make you a good player, luckily the game isn't solo and your success doesn't depend on your ability to play but rather your friends ability to make up for what you lack.
And Parrazell, if it wasn't for your blind arrogance and ego saying "im better" for being a clicker I wouldn't have had to respond in such a rate. But you need to realize that your way of playing is old, slow and outdated and if you want to improve you will need to learn to adapt.
Cheesetoastie it doesn't matter how much he memorizes it, he still has to move his attention from the game to the HUD, make sure hes clicking what he wants and then look back up. It is, and always will be a slower way to play.
Clickers just need to put down their unshakable stubbornness for a second and try it, it really is better.

And you should get a tolerance lesson. Do you think Parazell never used a hotkey? Or that he never considered switching between clicking and key-binding? He plays it the way he likes it. You have no right to judge his skill if you did not raid with him yet. Thats nonsense.
(Also, you have no right to order people to not post any answers after your reply, heh.)
